Second playthrough I am making it as hard as possible on myself. Sort of a self imposed hardcore mode like in the first game. Not letting these cheesy channels spoil stuff for me anymore

I hunted a perfect elk pelt after hours of searching and was coming down the mountain. A random guy bumped into to my horse and fell down. I got down from my horse to say sorry. But he pushed me off the cliff. I lost the pelt. After that Valentine got obliterated.

A good way to get lots of honour quickly, is to go to Saint Denis, then ride you horse around and just greet people, you don’t have to have a full conversation with them, just a single greet would do, you need to greet three different people and you’ll get one honour. This can be farmed really easily because there are lots of people in Saint Denis.

I helped a guy get outta trap and not only did it raise my honor level. when i saw him a while later in town at valentine he repaid me by letting my buy a gun off his tab. Its cool cause I got a free gun. Doing good deeds to strangers can help.

Jinhunter Slay yep some dude tried to pretend to be drunk and he wanted a ride but instead he tricked me and tried to kill me but i shot him first but the cop was standing there and thought the whole thing was on me also the same guy spawned in and asked for help so i agreed and he didn’t try to kill me but when i finished escorting him i thought to myself OH how the tables have tunes my friend and killed him(he no longer has a head now) it was in butchers creek so no one cared

All you need to do to build honour fast is go into towns/ cities and greet as many people as you can. I had 3/4 full honour in chapter 3 by doing this.

Another benefit to high honor is that you can buy an expensive horse at half price, fully bond with it, and sell it at nearly full price. You can make like $400-$600 profit for a couple hours playtime, and that's on top of all the other money you make

Throughout the game I played the good guy and had around half of the good honor bar filled and did the last mission for Leopold Strauss and as I kicked him out of the camp, my honor maxed out

Most people tell me that it's hard for them to get high honor, but for some reason I decided to get the low honor ending after I did the high honor one in my first playthrough and when I decided to do that I beat it with a full honor bar because for some reason I am incapable of getting low honor.

I was in red honor cause of a train robbery that went out of hand and i started killing everyone whom already gave me the money but i grinded some and got to mid honor when i was in chapter 6 so i was scared that i was gonna get the bad ending but then when i finished strauss' debts and confronted him... HOLY SHIT IT GAVE ME TONS OF HONOR and then got the little bit that was missing by helping Edith Downes. And for the little that is left to finish chapter 6 i hope i dont screw up...

During my first playthrough, I tied to be a good outlaw. Never robbed banks/trains aside form missions, always greeted strangers and helped them. I’d often check my homie level but I always stayed at around the middle, with the icon sliding a little to the white side. I’m surprised I never achieved more good honour but I knew I still finished the game with good honour as I got SPOILER ALERT Arthur’s peaceful death.

yeah certain things aren't enough to boost your honor level. i had max honor level and i got it after doing all the side honor missions besides helping ppl and stuff. but being dishonorable is probably easier and you'll become a hundred times richer but it's all worth it if arthur gets a peaceful ending. his life is already bad enough so why not give him good karma at least.

You can shave at anytime but you can't change clothes until later in the epilogue

The original Baldur's Gate (for Windows PCs only) had a similar game mechanic: as your party's reputation improved (on a scale from 1 to 20) you'd get better prices when shopping for equipment & weaponry @ various merchants. At the max reputation level, you'd get a 50%-off discount on nearly everything you bought (except for certain rare cases, like the Chitin Mail Armor set).

You're giving false information. I have many of the outfits you've named and I've never been higher than Honor Rank 6. I've only ever gotten a 25%; just to reconfirm.

Same. I'm in the middle of the honour bar. Have many of those outfits. The guy even says he hasn't been to all the stores so how would he know what's unlocked and what isnt 🤷‍♂️

I found it harder to be a low honour outlaw. I've played it through a few times now. The first time I aimed for high honour, achieved without difficulty. The second play through I aimed for low honour, and really had to try to maintain it. Third playthrough, I just did what I thought I would do in those situations, ended high honour lol.

He has a backstory that explains it during certain missions you to listen carefully but he had a son and his son the the mother were murdered so he lives with that guilt of not being there for them, so he refuses to pursue other women.

Naa dont.. Take your time and do all the side quests too as I think you can't do some after a certain point. I also miss the gang camp a lot so spend some time there

A way that helped me, chores, chance encounters, and randomly going to town and greeting people. And yes I did start from scratch I didn’t start from a poopy, low honor. I’m a good outlaw
