My friends, here is another video on my channel , in which I want to share with you current situation in my country , the way how we live here after sanctions and which kind of problems we have now. At the same time all these problems cannot compare with suffering which Ukrainian people have now. Belarusian people trying to help them as much as it possible. Also some of our sanatoriums giving a place for living many people from Ukraine.

At least on saturday there seems to be normal nightlife in Minsk city center, was good to see restaurants full and bars crowded. Lets hope this difficult general situation will be resolved somehow soon...

A very informative video on the present situation in Belarus and the region. Let us hope that the sanctions on Belarus and the conflict in the Ukraine are resolved soon. I was fortune enough to have traveled to Belarus in September 2019 without much hassle from Manchester, UK. I spent 4 days seeing the sights of Minsk. I only wished that I could have had Anfisa as a guide on the tour!!

Hi ) Be prepared at the airport. Have all documents in order. Show reservation for Hotel etc. I am NZ but flew from Dubai for VOA. With the current scene as it is i expected to be questioned at length and have my bags searched. And i was and they were ) I have nothing to hide, i was just visiting friends there. I had an interesting time, very warm and cultured people. Much more so than their neighbours to the East ). Belarusian food was fantastic. I was doing things like ordering one mea,l eating that and then ordering another. They laughed but the food was extraordinary. Slow cooked roasted veges and meat so tender, I stayed Hotel Belarus which was very good. Get the King size room, brilliant views and a little verandah. Very central location, easy walk to most places. I walk everywhere )

I think it was closed because our people cannot effort to buy expensive things as before. Stores pay a high rent. No make sense to continue to operate without income.

Nice video, I was in Minsk few weeks ago, and for sure it's not cheap to go there because you need to go by Istanbul so you pay extra ticket plane, hôtel, driver, restaurants for go and back... (I'm from Paris) but for sure I'm gonna come back very soon, I travel a lot and it's my favorite city with Miami, my big issue was credit card, I bring my black Visa and gold Mastercard you can pay with that but for ATM doesn't work... So good to know bring cash, you can change that in the Double tree Hilton Mall

To tell you the truth I am not coming to make money and to get rich. I have a girlfriend in Minsk who I want to marry and live with for the rest of my life. So I just need a job to pay my half of the bills and to make my lady happy. Because here in South Africa there are no jobs for the white man and the blacks are really killing this country in so many ways that it is very scary and sad. Because this use to be a very beautiful country but not any more. So how would I go about getting a job there

Very interesting. Food store looks well stocked. More than my local Lidl. If foreign exchange is difficult to get, perhaps look into opening a Bitcoin (or Litecoin) account. No tax on capital gains in crypto at present in Belarus (last I looked) PS Not financial advice 😎

I was in Belarus a few years ago and I loved it !The most troublesome red tape to get there but I never regret. I wish you lived in a democratic country friendly to tourists because you have a lot to offer. There're chances for changes now , be patient.

i like the soviet architecture like i have seen in chisinau. for me the country is interesting due to its history, napoleon, edzard schaper- the dying church, jules verne, ww2, but the winter in norway seems to be milder than in minsk. can people use foreign credit cards at atm there due to the sanctions? 3:21 nesquik and western food seems to be expensive there, or not?

duh man ... the Donbass region is park of Ukraine. They are not all separatists. The Russian Army was in Ukraine from the beginning - the shootdown of Flight 17 was from Ukranian territory by Russian military. The Russians don't care about anyone in Donbass - they are slaughtering Russian-speaking people in Donbass as we watch this video.

Hi Anfisa, unfortunately the sanctions are hitting the ordinary people because in a result of a weak Belarusian rubel. So prices are skyrocketing. The problem with the medicine is strange. Most of the medicine and there ingredients are from China and India. Both countries has good trade relations with Russia. So the sanctions should not effect the supply chain for the medicine. What is the product name for the pills your Dad needs? Greetings and stay strong. 💪😃

Hallo, Dear 🤗 in terms of medication around 50% Belarusian and Russian production, and the rest is European. My dad unfortunately taking different pills and a lot. The problem with medication is already huge in Russia. Few weeks after the war started, my friends from Moscow were already asking me to buy for the pills. Hope things will be better soon. Russian soldiers was sent for training on Ukrainian border and few weeks later forced in a way or another to go to war. Now I see Belarus is doing training with lots of soldiers on borders, do you think they are going to war?

Yes. I didn't comment it on my main post. She is a really beautiful and simultaneously sympathetic woman. And yes we lost most of these wonderful fine type of traditional (and pro traditional family and pro traditional marriage) "hot cats" in our past due to some complex sociobiological reasons which were living hidden in the gear of our liberal societies. It is a complex stuff. Anyway my American cowboy I bet we are too old to date this wonderful princess!!!! Too old to rock n roll but too young to die!! GRIN Brazil

Also before sanctions eu exported 8b$ of food to Russia and imported 2b$ from Russia, so if our shelves were empty Russians wouldn't be attacking Ukraine, they would have starved to death...

The Ukrainian crises have effect many countries in the world(not all) here in Toronto we have big problem purchasing a home (house, condo, apartment) too expensive, and now we have to pay more for gasoline and food in some cases 50% more. I believe Russia is doing good job cleaning it’s backyard from filth.

Sadly, Russia probably will by just improving it's ties to China and India. Belarus however will likely just become even more of a puppet of Russia assuming they don't just straight up get annexed in hopes of making a union. Belarus will likely be swallowed if the people are not able to have their own Euromaidan protest.

Belarus is an independent sovereign nation, why Belarus will have enemies with neighbours, USA and western world are far away. Ukraine should have friendly relationship with neighbours instead of being puppet, slave of USA.
