Sometimes people get so hung up on the technical aspects of performance that they fail to develop the things that make someone like Diana brilliant. Your singing has to be world class…that’s a given, that’s the prerequisite. But the physical embodiment of a character and the ability to bring that character to life *convincingly* and sell it to the audience night after night. Opera, Broadway, West End, it doesn’t matter…that’s “what separates the men from the boys” in theatrical performance. All of our favorite performers connect with us and portray their given material in a human way that transcends suspension of disbelief. Diana, in these videos, is very much the queen of the night. You don’t see Diana, you see the queen of the night…and it’s shocking. *That’s* what makes a brilliant performer.

I like almost everything of her, character, technical..even her voice is nearly for this role(agility, high, powerful) ....just only one component is not(in my mind) .It is small voice,not titan and round, homogeneous.
