@Sturmvapor nice. I think a big reason the constructicons are so popular is because their alt modes bring back a lot of early child hood memories for a lot of fans since most of us had construction vehicles as younger kids :) and you gotta love those overhead missiles of mixmaster 👍

Thanks brother! Yeah I actually love Long Hauls wide and stocky frame from the CW Devy. Adds more variety to the team:) I love Scrapper too and so was bummed that Hasbro shortchanged him by not including elbows....so I resorted to an upgrade kit for that :) Legacy Menasor is a much needed improvement over the CW version which I think was the worst ever! Looking forward to the incoming Aerialbots :) thanks for the view again Audie! Always great hearing from ya!

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf G1 it's (in my opinion) the best not just combiner, but best Transformer ever made, even today. The figures had all the articulation they needed (then again I've never cared how many joints a toy had and actually think newer ones have too many that can wear out but also make the toy just look bad in a lot of cases) but it also had heft from the die cast, a great color scheme and the toys were fun on their own and combined were even more awesome.

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf Oh yeah, I've still got all of my original G1 and G2 figures minus my original Optimus Prime (my brother and cousin were playing with it in what they thought was a big sandbox but was really the foundation for an addition to our house, so it got buried in cement lol) although I have since replaced it,still it's not the Optimus I woke up to on Christmas 1984 so it doesn't have that sentimental feel for me the way say my G1 Megatron or Soundwave hold if that makes sense to you. Christmas 85 was funny though, my brother was born about 4 months earlier and my parents held up two toys and the one he reached for is the one "he" got me for Christmas. Turned out to be Grapple and they let me open it on Christmas Eve (basically to keep me quiet until it was time to go to both sets of grandparents houses lol). Well, we get to my Dad's mom's house and we're opening gifts, one from my Grandma I open it and ... it's Grapple. Next one I open is from my aunt and uncle from out of town and... it's Grapple lol. I was destined to get Grapple lol I think people read the back where it says he's an architect and since I was always drawing, they figured that was most like me. It was no problem since I just exchanged the other two the day after Christmas but it was just funny getting three of the same figure in one day. Sorry I'm rambling on.

Yeah Devil Saviour trumps all in terms of accuracy. I was scared away by it's complexity and preferred the overall size of the OS. Still DS trally looks awesome! I'm sure he brings your display to another level!

Thanks! Mixmaster was my only constructicon for a long time too. Great job on getting Metroplex though. I passed on him, a decision i greatly regret now as he one of the hardest to find. Did you eventually get Menasor? The latest Legacy version, while not perfect is pretty awesome!

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf Nope. At this stage I just focus in getting moderns of original characters I had from my childhood. Besides, the Motormaster has QC issues of yellowing and could not afford that one to even complete a set. I’m good getting the ones I used to own from my youth and then, portably I’m done getting them.

I've never bought any 3rd party figures (mainly for the pricing, wow!), but I've seen and heard great things! I also prefer to have one version of a character to save shelf space :'D

@pizzaruby5140 well it seems like the SS86 Devy is coming in the form of three sets of twos or something like that. I'll reserve judgement until I see them. I also don't forsee myself giving up my CW Devy...but let's see 😅

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf wasn't able to get the Legacy version unfortunately, maybe when the G2 color versions all come out I will be able to. My favorite is Breakdown, love his color scheme and feel he has a lot of potential to be a great character of focused on on the future.

@MassHystarix nice I like Dead End cuz of his "who cares" attitude 😅 didn't they release a box set of legacy Menasor? You should definitely get it if you get the chance. Definitely and much needed improvement over the CW version :) only drawback is that they kinda skimped on Breakdown essentially making him just a Wildrider repaint.

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf Logically, being made from construction vehicles should make him strong, being a team of 6 should also make him stronger than teams of 5. But G1 and logic don't mix well.
