The Ford F-450 is a truck with a higher towing and payload capacity than the F-250 and F-350, making it a good choice for hauling large items like boats, campers, or horse trailers. The F-450 also has a number of other features that make it special, including:
Engine: The F-450 has multiple engine options, including a 6.7L turbo liter engine that produces 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, a 7.3L V-8 gasoline engine that produces 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, and a 6.7L V-8 turbo diesel engine that can produce up to 1050 pound-feet of torque. The 2024 model also features a redesigned electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger for improved throttle response.
Brakes and suspension: The F-450 has larger brakes and 7,000 pound coil springs, and its wide track front end allows for tighter turning.
