The engine is different. It's not turbo petrol of Suzuki. It's Toyota engine. More capable, more reliable.

People with zero knowledge about car safety should not repeat ignorant comments. Car safety is not based on how thick the metal is. If that was the case, the Ambassador would be 5/5. Rather car safety depends on the strength of certain key structural elements such as the A, B pillars, crumple zones, side beams, and safety accessories like seatbelts, airbags, etc.

Toyota doesn't make cars under 20 lakhs even in international market. So they made a pact with Suzuki to rebadge their products so that they can sell them in price sensitive market like India. Just look at Toyota's international portfolio. They have some of the best cars to offer but they will cost minimum 25-30 lakhs . So it's not rational to bring them in Indian market.
