Reminds me of John Piper's book "Desiring God." I love how Andy extends happiness to the broader group of "whoes" around us. When you bring your gift to the alter and remember that your brother has something against you...

Happiness is relative to a person's state of mind. It is a conscious feeling of being loved, valued and living a purposeful life ...with gratitude, humbly appreciate all opportunities and challenges as these present themselves....

You learn how to be happy as you learn who you are... Whatever happens in your lifetime shapes your definition of happiness... It is living in harmony with your community...happiness is like a diamond...you look at it on different angles...and you wonder how it is beautiful...

This just hit the nail on the head in my life. My wife I’m sure also should understand this. Son has destroyed us and the bond we had in our lives. 🙏🏻. I want to love her all the days of my life but this may not be my decision. God has the plan !

Absolutely true at the 20:10 mark. The relationship starts to erode when you bring sin in. If you are having a sexual relationship outside of marriage, the relationship has started to crumble. That's my experience. Well, no more for me. I will wait for the one God has for me comes and we get married.

I hear this about living in isolation is rubbing people of their relationship with me. I hear it often. But every time I hear it my response is "who?" Who is this person/ people I am robbing?

I agree totally. He never followed up on that. In fact, I can't see a problem of preferring a life of near total isolation if that isolation is a peace of it's own from all of life's arrows and barbs. It is the same when told we need to go to church to find God. No, we don't. We may go because we find comfort in worship with others, and that is fine. But there of those of us that can find God wherever we are because he is with us internally. He is not residing in a fixed external place.

We love because He first loved us, we cannot love the God kind of way in isolation. The love weve received must overflow unto others. Its the enemies goal to cut off that flow of Gods love through us unto others who are yet to experience it. You could be the only reference of the bible an unbeliever in your world may read.
