My husband must be very pleased with me because he was the first and only man in my life. He passed away 24 years ago and there is not me day that I do not remember him. Next year I'll have been married for 50 years...our playfulness and laughter got us through these years..respect and our own ambitions, him his own business, me work as a secretary, then two wonderful children..then as I got.older and the kids grew up I took up oil painting which I love...its so true what you say life is too short so try to enjoy everyday..God bless you all and I wish and hope you all find true love..

You can feel this way with anyone. Old and young. Being around certain people who are hopeful and funny in life can make such a drastic difference in life. It can change your outlook on life. For sure. I remember certain people that made a big difference in my life. I became a different person after a few years around them. Life is interesting that way.

"Why would I value someone's criticism if I don't care about their opinion?" What a perfect way to say it. Regarding ranting about your ex, we all instinctively know it drives other people away, so if we're not ready for another relationship but can't consciously admit it, we can use this behavior as a self-defense mechanism to keep people at a safe distance. A mature person will bring that up to conscious awareness and own it as a stage they're going through on their healing journey, whereas an immature person will sublimate it under the guise of presenting themselves as an innocent victim.

What I tell the new guy about my exes: “I loved them all 😂😂😂” On a serious note, I would add something to your 5 points. It is the combination of the contrary. 1-being playful while being serious when required 2- positive energy while being able to be vulnerable when feeling low 3- Caring a damn what people think while understanding how others feel 4- Tell them how you handled the previous relationship on a personal level both the positive and negative 5-being ambitious and passionate while being able to be content and calm

I agree with you on all of those points that you made, and I believe everying you talked about comes from inner peace. Great video! Always enjoy watching these types of videos not just for relationship advise but just to educate myself on personal growth! I definitely agree with you it’s important to distance yourself from negativity, it’s always better to be positive and spread positivity. It’s easier said than done but if anyone struggles with this, start with using positive self talk, use positive affirmations. Such as, “I know I am confident, I deserve the best, and I know I’ll get through this.” 💐

Alex you are uniquely special man. This is my first time hearing, listening and seeing you present your material. Excellent points and therefore suggestions for ALL of us, regardless of gender or where we are at in a relationship. These are pearls of wisdom a person can use whether seeking a relationship, entering into a new one, in the over comfortable mid phases, sliding down the hill and wondering if it is possible to get back to where the times were good , OR realizing that no matter how much effort you exert to turn the ship around it takes a 2 person crew to make that happen and one needs to know that it’s time to agree to disagree and walk away peacefully. The only time I like to reflect on what I did wrong in any given situation is to remember the lesson that I learned. I try to focus on that as a take away. I want to a Thank You for your spirit, and positive delivery you’ve re-encouraged me that there are still men such as yourself with your heart and philosophy to want a fulfilling reciprocal relationship. Not just fulfilling someone else’s needs & desires but both parties. After all, isn’t that what we both want ? The party should be with each other. Haha Seriously, though Thank You again.

I recently met someone that I like a lot, I realized he has such a passion for what he does, it made me think Im so not on his level because I do not have any passions, this has made me a little sad and self conscious, but now I see I must find a passion to level myself up..

Your channel just happened to come across my screen. I must say I was impressed with the manner in which you presented this video. Polite, clear, a little humorous, and in a composed way. One thing that stood out was where you mentioned that we shouldn't be dependent upon someone else to make us happy, but be happy and complete in ourselves and let our partner complement us. I was married 3 months shy of 30 years, until my husband passed 6 years ago. Be playful...I agree, sometimes it feels good not to act our age:), and even though we are up in years, go a head and act like a kid or a teenager again!! Life is serious, I know, but a smile, and laughter goes a long way. A merry heart doeth good like medicine. And grumpy people usually aren't healthy either, and no one enjoys their company. Be a ray of sunshine. Be positive. There are times that one can be negative because of certain circumstances, but that shouldn't be the tenor of our character. I enjoy being cheerful, and as you say, love my job giving heart and soul into it, even though I'm dog tired at the end of the day, :) I have my own style, all which I hope someday some good man may come to appreciate.

Love: “Why would I value someone’s criticism if I don’t care about their opinion”. Something to solidify in my thought process. Hard to do sometimes. The key is to look for validation and acceptance in your relationship with Jesus Christ first. You won’t find that in any relationship, especially if you’re not secure in the knowledge of your value, worth and that you are enough.

I do agree with all that has been said however in today society it not like that anymore. If very hard to find a man who appreciate all that qualities, sad to say they are all taken and what is left are the men who doesn't appreciate those qualities because of their insecurities. The cold hard truth are the men of today are not looking for woman with those qualities, they are looking for the superficial woman who don't have a clue.

I have always been confident in who I am as a person. I have not always been comfortable in all situations because I was shy. Even in College I had to stretch beyond my comfort zones to adapt to meeting new friends and being more outgoing. Today, I have worn many hats and I love life. I coach others to love themselves and life as well.

Yes i did shared your video....when girls are raised with mentality that we supposed to be selfless ...we need to think everytime about our family bro sis mom ....we find it hard to make decisions and go into unending loop of guilt, confusion with lower selflesteem... Also passion is the important element in everything we do.
