SPINACH BITES RECIPE:
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and wrung of excess water
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1 tsp dried thyme
3/4 cup cooked brown rice
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
heat oven to 350. combine all ingredients in a bowl. form into 1-tablespoon balls and place on parchment paper on baking sheet. bake for 15-20 mins. i did more like 22 mins.

Woowww. Have I been starving my daughter 😥 cuz I definitely dont give her this much meals per day. She is also very picky. Am proud of how Jackson eats. I'm surprised he had weight issues. Am sorry but those doctors scales were wrong❤❤. The only thing different is that I give my daughter (11 months) a lot of breastmilk continually throughout the day.

When they drink a lot of breast milk, they’re not going to be as hungry for solid food. Once you decrease the milk, she will eat more.

The rice balls with spinach looked so good. I still freak out about my 18 month old choking. She seems to want to swallow her good without chewing and she stuffs her mouth when it’s something tasty and she can’t get enough of. Literally she gives me panic attacks.

A lunch idea I'd recommend is making or buying premade frozen bean burgers! I never thought of it before but they are usually really soft since they are made from primarily smashed beans and you can find ones with added veggies too!

Very helpful Kayla! My little is almost 10 months and I struggle with portion sizes. Seeing the portions that Jackson eats made me feel better as I don't think I'm too far off. My little is in the 9th percentile so I'm always worried she's not getting enough between her milk and solids 😊

My 1 year old eats bread for breakfast every day, and he has just gotten his first tooth. I've never had any issues with him choking. Babies are very good at controlling that themselves :) Great meal ideas! I need to introduce mine to more variety I think :)

My son is about a week older than Jackson and its crazy how different babies are. My son is 27lbs, he's a big boy. He's on the other end of the percentile. I like watching Jackson because they're about the same with every thing else and my son loves watching him and Riley. We haven't been socializing at all so its fun seeing him see another little person ❤

I know you give yourself a hard time about cooking so I thought I'd share. Tried to make the spinach balls for my 11 month old daughter. Put them in the oven but got distracted by a baby so I forgot to set a timer. 2 hrs later, noticed that the oven was on, thought "That's weird" and turned it off. STILL forgot about the spinach balls. Finally remembered 3 hrs after that when I was making dinner. They were rock solid and burnt to a crisp yet still managed to leave a weird slime trail on the parchment paper as I scraped them into the garbage.

I made fresh apple or steamed apple blended with almond my son loved it. Sometime I mix apple sauce almond with baby oat meal and my son likes it a lot for breakfast

I was waiting for this! Jackson is sick a good eater. 👏🏻 My son just turned 1 and I couldn’t figure out what to give him during the day other than some snacks and pieces from what we have for lunch and dinner. This helped a lot. What times do you usually feed Jackson/like how much time in between does he eat? I feel like my baby doesn’t eat as much 😔 trying to get him off the boob, he’s doing good with milk in his cup too! Love your videos and you’re doing awesome Mama, your babies are adorable!! 🥰😘

The only thing about most videos on KZfaq it really shows the babies that are probably more advanced than most. Need more videos of the average baby that's not walking at 7 months and eating solids I really like that because that's not mostly how things go

Hey Kayla, it might be the texture of chicken that Jackson doesn’t like? You could try mixing it with some kind of sauce to make it wetter. My son likes his mixed with mayonnaise, cheese sauce or gravy! 😊

@@kenduyhien9548 What does he do in school when you’re not there? Why aren’t you allowing your child to develop normally like every other child? What are you so afraid of? He doesn’t need to be trained! If he is developmentally normal, he should be perfectly capable of feeding himself. He’s not a baby, so stop punishing him by treating him like one.

I’m struggling a lot with my now 12 month old. Her growth from 0-9months were amazing, she stayed in the middle. But during her 1 year appointment, her growth slowed down a lot. She only gained 11oz in 3 months…. It dropped. I first try to give her solids before offering her milk. She hates drinking milk and she hates any types of solids… it’s just so frustrating. I can’t help but break down in tears. I just want to see her eat.. she’s very skinny now..

My baby doesn’t (won’t) wear bibs & even grabs his suction bowl off his table 👀 ...so I just strait up use his high chair table as a plate and clean it every time. Any tips? I can’t be the only one who deals with this 😄 I’d love to give him pretty plates like in this video👍 LOL
