this is not how most of us in the US eat. A traditional Christmas dinner in the US is honey-baked ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce, and maybe some type of squash or Brussels sprouts

Also, most people don't eat a lunch or snack before Christmas dinner. this woman is just an insane overspender. they throw most of the food away, becuase no child can possibly eat this much

This is definitely not a normal Christmas dinner in America 😂. We definitely eat similar foods! My husband grew up in England and the Christmas dinners we ate growing up were basically the same.

Please don’t begin to look at all of that waste and think any other American eats like this!!! Traditional Christmas dinner in my part of the country is ham, or beef roast with all the thanksgiving type fixings. Very homemade meal. This IS NOT normal!

Some families go the roast/ham route, others spice things up. We have had taco bars, charcuterie boards, BBQ pulled pork bar, pizza, and a pasta bar for Christmas dinner before. I think it's great that they ordered most of their food - Christmas is about spending time with family, and it's hard to do that when you are the one stuck in the kitchen cooking and prepping meals all day.

On Christmas they have an ever revolving door of extended family. Including but not limited to grandparents, cousins, biological families, neighbors and friends. Much like every other day. And just like when any other family has a get together people take home leftovers... I don't know why everyone has to jump down their throats....

Okay so u had a Danish for breakfast a slice of pizza for lunch a piece of shrimp and maybe a piece or two of the sushi . For dinner you had one BBQ sandwich on a roll. It doesn't sound like alot to me lol

I have a large family, about 20+ people and on holidays I’ll have brunch with my dad and then dinner later on with my whole family. So even for my large family we could not eat all of this in one day.

They also had family over

@@brooklynnlifestyle5894 it’s still way too much. They had breakfast, which is normal. Then they had subs for lunch which is a lot and very filling. Then as a snack they had sushi, which again after the other meals that’s really packing it on. Then finally they had dinner with friends and family. That’s a lottt of food. Normally people would have breakfast, then maybe a snack if they’re feeling hungry before dinner and then they have dinner. Dinner is usually a lot so people try to save room, and eat lighter throughout the day.

If you watch some of her shopping vlogs, she definitely caters to all her kids likes and dislikes, so I honestly don’t think they would refuse someone because they are vegetarian.

@@mbd0377 I have watched them, and I guess that’s true, but at the same time, it’s easier to get a kid snacks, instead of buying them separate meals, and having to cook things in separate pots/pans. And all of the stuff that goes with it. Like I take iron tablets, so I don’t get really sick. And since I’m not eating meat, it’s more expensive to have to buy stuff like the fake meat, and different protein things and supplements.

I think it’s wrong to assume what her intentions are and to assume the worst out of this video. I think we should just be happy that this family is happy and thriving and they get to celebrate the way they do. I don’t see how you can think she doesn’t care about other families. Her family obviously comes first over others, but it doesn’t mean, she flat out doesn’t care about anyone else. Why are you assuming she’s not there for her kids? A mom can spend time with her kids while also providing them with gifts. Your jealousy is really showing in your comment hun.

I’m sure there are some organizations near you that you could pick up some gifts or clothes from if you do some research. No shame in reaching out- we all need help and there are people out there who can provide you with extra support and gifts for your kids!

Yorkshire pudding isn't an American Christmas staple. In fact, most people wouldn't have a clue what it even is in America. And yes, most traditional American dinners have ham or turkey...not beef, and mashed potatoes are a staple as well in traditional American fare on Christmas. I assume that she didn't want to be cooking for days, so went a less traditional route for this many people.

They have a lot of family that comes over for holidays on top of having 12 kids. If it's anything like my big family they definitely need to have a lot on hand.

@@DogLover_365 They do have family that appear in their videos, like the July 4th video. Even one family together with as many boys as she has is a recipe for a LOT of food. We have mostly girls in our family but what few boys we have will decimate a whole loaf of bread by themselves in a single sitting and that's holding back. With as many boys and growing kids as she has plus family (even if not as many as most have) she's likely to go through a lot of food. Even if some of it is flexing I highly doubt that she's throwing away as much as most people think she does. Her oldest son alone looks like he could take out a whole sushi platter by himself, and as he should since he's not done growing yet.
