Tito has a very good appetite considering he's almost 2 years old...Most toddlers are very picky about what they eat, but then again Tito's Mama is a very good cook and I'm sure she makes everything taste good...

In 2003, Heinz was asking for traditional recipes to be submitted to them so I cooked okra soup with palm oil, crayfish and chicken, no salt or a pinch. Blended with a little semolina or ground rice dough and babies loved it, I even told a friend and she fed her twins with it. They loved it. I never got to submit it but babies unanimously voted for my recipe as a second solid for toddlers after baby cereal. Lovely video. 😊

my daughter is 20months old, for breakfast ,which is usually at 7:30,give her bread + tea,then at 11,she could have like boiled potatoes +egg sauces,then at 2pm,she could mostly probably have beans or rice or noodles.then at 5pm,She would have her night cereal (they've d one 4 kids to eat at night,which is high in fibre and aids digestion). BTW, I looooove tito's appetite,doesn't seem like he's a picky someborri.💋

my dear sisi yemi,I feel the same way,am soo happy seeing my baby eat well it gives me Joy and relief.

boys can eat! my 3 year old literally eats more than me! and your routine is exactly mine!!! and my son literally eats the same. warm cup of milk once he wakes up. breakfast, snack 3 hrs later. nap at 1pm, lunch at 3pm, banana or apples peeled just like tito's at 5, then light dinner at 6.45. almost the same routine at sch. French toast, semo and draw soup or yellow soup as he calls eguisi, sweet potato porridge with carrots etc, porridge plantain like you did, yam and egg sauce, oat meal and wheatbiscuits for fiber, coconut rice are some of his favourites. he's very active so we don't do sugar in milk or cereal and I hate packed juice so fresh orange juice and smoothies with farm yoghurt are some of the liquids I make for him. basically i cant make any food for him without green veg or coloured veg like peas and carrots. he also eats brocholli like no man's biz. my sis introduced me to kale and i dare you sisi to cook kale with eguisi. you go gaga! lol. so yummy!!! my son really eats everything and like you said, nothing gives me joy than coming out of thr kitchen and he runs to the dining all hyped to clear off mama's cooking!!!

My kiddos loves akara and yogurts too. My daughter (4yrs) loves poundo over Pizza like kilode. SiSiYemmie, awesome healthy food. Water is always better. Any juice I give my kids I miss 50/50 with water...Gotta look out for them teeth. I also blend yogurt & avocado (since it's a healthy fat). In our house on Saturdays we do smoothie-shakes in the AM. Mixture includes: raisins, plain Greek yogurt, peanut-butter, avocado (yes, I'm a sucker for it), banana, strawberries and blue berries. Though in the beginning my kiddos thought it was yucky, I've now find ways to get them drink it by bribing them with their Tablets😀😀😀😀 We eat spinach/kale a lot with either rice/Yam (Nigerian Yam) Since my kids don't like eating boiled eggs by itself, I just fry it with the akara and they devour it like magic😆 My kids also love their hot-chocolate with french-toast sticks and warm milk with their cereal ( I thought that was strange, but they love it ever since my husband made it for them) Great video SiSiYemmie..... I am moroccan married to a nigerian yoruba man and as u know always chilli is in husband food so its difficult for me to give my baby from his food .
