As a 41 year old with 3 kids of my own, my mom still cooks vietnamese dishes for me. Even more so after my 1st child. She truly cared for me through those first few terrifying weeks of motherhood. Your mom literally made all the food I grew up eating 🥹 I’m so glad it finally gets shown off and the attention it deserves!! Especially Bun bo hue is my favorite and I haven’t found a restaurant that serves it good unless I drive 2 hours to Chinatown but uptown for it. I need your mom’s recipe!! I need the spice and the pork blood..I’m the only one that really likes it at parents house everyone else favors rice soup or pho or vermicelli salad
