I want my tax money spent on new technology that is more efficient and less polluting. I do not want my tax money spent hurting Canadians who can barely afford food, by punishing use of gasoline vehicles and the transportation of food, or the heating and cooling of their homes. This hurts way more lower class Canadians than it does the upper class.

@@Edward_Bernays Over the last few years we have achieved the lowest carbon footprint per capita in 20 years. Emissions naturally went down during Covid, and rebounded to normal, but still on track with pre-Covid drops. That had nothing whatsoever to do with immigration.

Emissions decreasing are NOT because of any carbon tax, since those are newer, it's because of the free market creating cleaner technology. How tf are you shilling for this? We are going back up to pre covid (covid hasn't gone away btw), so we're achieving basically nothing.

And using ICBC as a piggy bank, which basically caused to be bankrupt. Now, they've gone to no-fault insurance. In Sask ,they went to years ago, and all it does is make it harder to get what you deserve. In Sask. I hand a family of 3 living in my driveway for six months. They weren't given anything. The other driver ran a stop sign and turned them. That was 16 years ago, and they still struggle with health issues. I was in an accident in Saskatchewan, and because I was working there, Sgi had nothing to do with it. When I was living in East Van, someone backed into me. I wasn't even near the car. Guess what? They said I was 50 % at fault. She broke ICBC, and she has no business telling everyone around her that she knows more than how everything works. I sent her a letter asking for her to review the case. She phoned me and gavesome me verbal diarrhea about how it was still my fault. I moved away that year. She shouldn't be pretending she has a brain there

I have less of an issue with the carbon tax than I have with Trudeau's obscene deficits and spending habits. IMHO, we should be cutting government expenditures and as Christie Clark said lower taxes. I would add we need to start paying back our debt. We need to not just slow but reverse immigration gains. Get Canadians on the dole back to working. Get our homeless into housing. Our addicts off of drugs. Our violent criminals and repeat offenders in jail. If recently immigrated, citizenship revoked and forced and immediate deportation. It's absolute mismanagement and the LPC has become drunk on, intoxicated by and addicted to spending. Worse, is the spending is not efficient with its end result being a lower quality of life, and these expenditures are not being audited and for the most part look like a series of corrupt slush funds one after the other.
