As a long time forsaken player, great video!

Technically humanity did give the Forsaken several chances, first was Garithos surprisingly then in Vanilla a few defect and remain by the Dalaran bubble and are assasinated by the Forsaken under Varimathras orders. Third was in Wotlk when Putress did Wrathgate and in the Sylvanas Book we find out that approved the Blight and even wasn't initially against using it on everyone if it killed the Lich King, but she did not plan for Varimathras betraying her and for the Forsaken secrets within Undercity to be discovered by the Alliance and the Horde forces. Basically causing the Horde to send the Kor'kron to oversee their actions because the Alliance was absolutely furious that living humans and dwarves were being used as living experiments... Also the apothecaries left all the evidence they needed to condemn them and that's why Varian despised them. Then in Shadows Rising they were given one last chance at the Arathi Highlands were the living humans of Lordaeron and the undead were allowed to meet and greet then well you described what happened. Then BFA happened.... Yeah... the genocide of the Night Elves and Battle for Lordaeron and Stromgarde left a bitter taste for the living, but even so, they were willing to let the undead keep Lordaeron City and Tirisfal which was a huge compromise by the Alliance and they took Southern Lordaeron aka Southshore, Gilneas and part of Silverpine. Effectively returning the status quo of Vanilla, but with the living rebuilding and repopulating all over Lordaeron.

I really enjoyed seeing the whole timeline of the Forsaken right up to date! I think the history of this faction is one of the best in Warcraft for sure. Lilian Voss is such a great character and I like how she plays a part all across Azeroth and you get to see her character grow, much like Sylvanas. It's a shame most of us have to wilfully ignore the character development presented in Shadowlands, but looking forward to watch the future might bring!

Another excellent video- Hard to talk about the Forsaken without talking about Sylvanas at length. The Forsaken heritage armor quest shows some more of the new council, and if you are a Sylvanas loyalist from the BFA quests, you get a special message from Sylvanas while she serves her sentence in superhell. Basically, she confirms that the Forsaken do and always will matter to her. One quick correction- Daelyn Proudmoore is Jaina's younger brother, not her father.

Thank you, you have a lovely voice to listen to. I've always been a Sylvanas fan; I don't feel her arc was particularly well written. To be honest I'd be happy if Blizz suddenly announced; "The end of Legion, BfA and SL were all a dream! Things are back to normal now!" The need for some writers to turn strong female characters into evil-without-reason psychotics is too prevalent (see Daenerys.) It's frustrating. Anyway. One can only hope for change. It's looking as though Sylvanas's sister, Alleria, might also fall to the 'Good female lead character, what do we do with her now? Oh yes... EVIL' trope! Hopefully not!

My OG Forsaken character was die hard for the dark lady. As a kid I had a massive crush on Sylvanas. But by BFA she reminded me of my ex girlfriend lol.

This is made in the month of May and there was no talk about Calia? Hmm, probably a good idea actually.

I choose to ignore any lore progression that happened in Shadowlands too.. 😂
