Bama is very young. As someone very wise once said, "You learn way more from your failures than your successes." Was at the game. It was glaringly obvious Michigan, "wanted it more than we did". Something felt really really off tonight. Being as candid as I can be as a Bama fan(and as painful as it is to say)...Alabama got outcoached and out schemed. I was incredibly disappointed in the offensive play calling. It was just flat out, "Strange". We never had Michigan on their heels. We had no creativity. We never schemed anyone open. Burton was a complete non factor. Bond was a complete non factor. Hell, the passing game was a non factor. The running game was impotent. The utilization of Jalens legs was as Vanilla as Ive seen us be in a long time. And as much as I love Jalen, he made some really bad decisions. He threw when he should have run. He missed short screen passes. He over threw receivers when he should have under thrown them. Was 10 minutes too late on timing patterns where had he thrown it early to the spot they were going to be, would have had a ton of completions. Instead he waited for them to get there before throwing it. A few times I had absolutely no idea who he was targeting at all. We had no creativity on called quarterback runs. He never took his easy check downs. The offensive line that looked so dominant against Georgia got beat by Michigan's D all game. I dont know. We were just, "out of sync". And once again, we had snapping problems. I get our center is a great blocker- but his numerous uno is getting the ball to the qb. If he cant do that consistently, we have to fix it or sub. How many times do we have to have poor low snaps that kill drives or put us way behind the 8 ball? It cost us on the last play. The snap was low. It was supposed to have been a qb option. Jalen had no other option but to.run it after the snap was low low low. It happened every game. And I mean, doesn't every tram in college football have a pick.. I mean "rub" play for that 4th and 3 situation? And do we even have tight ends on the team anymore? Anyways...I love the tide. Was a great season. Congrats to Michigan. We will learn from it. But tonight- as a fan who traveled a long way to go to the game... was highly disappointed in our game plan. Thats "my truth".

@@funkdoktor9099 You’re spot on there, friend. It’s a very odd ending to what had began to emerge as sort of a ‘Cinderella’ season. This game was a real head scratcher. It is difficult to say we got outcoached, but we’ve seen it before. I’m really dumbfounded by it because we’d been seeing upturns since September. But there were problem areas that should’ve been dealt with weeks ago, particularly those bad snaps. It seems the only adjusting has been done by Milroe’s ability to deal with what he learned to expect from his center. Just another head scratcher. Well, Michi was ready, Alabama was not, and it showed. RTR

This was the nicest interview. Milroe has a great way he addresses the media & great maturity. I think he has matured Saban. Maybe Saban sees we don’t expect him to win all the time. That’s not the important part. It’s how you grow in love for each other. Football is best when all teams have the humbleness to just play. Let God decide the winner. Have joy. Speak well of the sport, the players & coaches because of the high caliber of character developed. Football is about learning what is possible. It’s not just about plays & winning. In the end you want the players to grow in love, grace & character. This season it looks like Saban grew too. He sees it’s not just about winning, it’s about keeping the vision high for each teammate. Cherish the players. I’m glad Nick takes that burden of always having to win off him. He needs to just enjoy where he is. In fact, Nick is losing because those are the lessons he hadn’t learned yet. It’s all good. Hats off to Milroe’s maturity & grace. He didn’t get mad when center messed up a lot of hikes. He’s a mature young man who has inner strength & tenacity. He’s a strong player too. He’s like Nagee if Nagee were a QB?

When critics and analysts talk of his legacy, this year will be in it. He went out beating Kirby with a team no one believed in and coached a team up far above what anyone thought possible. He went out showing he still had every bit of what he always had and proved he was choosing to walk away rather than watching the game walk away from him.

This game was frustrating to watch. All the credit to Michigan, they played their tails off and that defense is incredible. I think this Bama team would've played so much better if the game was a week after the SEC Championship. They needed to keep the momentum going, and it didn't quite carry over. I never expected Bama to get here after the South Florida game so super impressed with the team, it just feels like something got left behind this year. Offensive play calling was...interesting in the first half and the last play. Just feel like some big misses but that's kind of been this season. Next year though, with the players that are coming back, teams better watch out. As always, Roll Tide.

I am very proud of this team. From seeing them at the beginning of the season struggling, up to this point, I’ll be honest and say I didn’t believe they would get this far because they are a young team. It’s hard for a young team to play at the veteran level and that’s why I didn’t expect them to do much this year. I believed this year was going to be a rebuilding season. It was amazing to see this team transform after the Texas loss. Alabama players have nothing to be ashamed of and should hold their heads up high. I’m very optimistic about next year since most of these guys will be back. People should realize this young team exceeded everyone’s expectations. Roll Tide and next year this team will be one of the most dangerous teams in college football.

If same team plays next year. it will be 6-6 win season. At times they were lucky but playing some good teams exposes them. Yes GA was 5-10 mins late else they would have also won the game just like Michigan.

I was really upset that Georgia lost in the fashion that we did against Alabama, but this season might have been a top 3 coaching job by Nick Saban. The improvement that this Alabama squad showed from Week 2 to the SECCG and even this game was astonishing. There were some close calls against USF and Auburn, but almost all of the top 10 teams had those games this season against underdogs. Should be a really exciting season next year!

Note Michigan big men beat ala big men most of the game. Offense coordinator would not admit they could not run up the middle on that line. Note last play left side only had 1 defender to beat. Great game though

It looked like Michigan #5 (Stewart) pushed the Alabama right tackle backward, who tripped up Milroe so he couldn't veer left. Alabama's right guard was pulling and there was clear sailing into the end zone along the left side.
