Harborview Medical Center’s Emergency Department is preparing for its annual wave of fireworks injuries as the Fourth of July holiday nears.
According to Harborview, every year around the Fourth of July they treat about 55 patients for fireworks-related injuries. Harborview is the region’s only Level 1 trauma and burn center.
