Dwight Howard is a clown but still plays basketball. Simmons don't seem to want to be anywhere near the court unless he dress up and look pretty on the bench in street clothes

To answer the question... Andrew Bynum. Came out at some point once he left the Lakers dude just didn't really want to play basketball. He liked the paychecks though. What Simmons is doing should have a remedy the Nets can use maybe suspend him or impose enough fines that he stops the nonsense. Too much guaranteed money in the NBA

It ain't his back its his brain. Dude not trying to give any big effort. For sure a guy his size trying to keep his back from abuse would have worked on a jumper in all that time off but nope.. his game regressed.

Eric Bledsoe comes to mind. He was a talented athletic defensive combo guard who went from 1st team D to the most apathetic basketball you've ever seen. He was like a team crusher. Eric Gordon might've been even worse too. Those were 2 of the mist uninspired ball players I ever watched. Anthony Davis arguably just bc of how much talent went to waste. I don't think you can include guys like Granger, Roy bc they dealt with injuries. I don't put that on them hence why Jonathan Isaac may not apply. Drummond was a good example. Larry Sanders was extreme. Dude was a good player than retired to smoke ganj.

Eric G was on key on all the houston teams that won all those games for a 5 year period. He’s always been an above average player.

@@paytonthompson8659 I mainly watched him the 4 yrs he played for New Orleans. he was an embarrassment to the game. so entitled and apathetic that frankly I don't believe people like that deserve to be in the NBA. not on a guaranteed contract. I'm sure his stats might look okay, but no heart no soul no passion. most going thru the motions I ever watched. refused to dive for loose balls or defend or frankly give any kind of effort beyond chucking 3s instead of running an offensive set. maybe Houston got a better version; I know the Clippers certainly did. But for 4 yrs he went from a supposedly ascending allstar & Olympian to one of the most embarrassing basketball tenures I've ever witnessed. Anyone who watched him in New Orleans will likely agree. I know Monty Williams does.

That's one of my favorite shooters he was too small to play the 2 and wasn't s playmaker to run point so he fizzled out pretty quick. Great shooter tho
