Low key I feel like platform and flat shoes never ever leave, like always someone’s wearing them and there is a trending style of both forms. Also I feel like I never know what’s “ACTUALLY “ trending bc what’s trending to me isn’t to other people bc of the good ole algorithm. But maybe that’s bc I don’t use insta for fashion inspo besides following actual designers that inspire me and Pinterest that uses the algorithm of what I already like (niche film fashion) and then most of my fashion inspo comes from films that I watch bc I’m a film fien so like to me the 60s style Birkin dress and the Birkin bag accessorizing has been trending to me for years but maybe that’s bc I was obsessed with Jane Birkin and Bardot films. So are things really trendy or is it a never ending cycle, like yes obvi colors like red and animal print and rectangle glasses are making a comeback but in reality the people actually wearing them irl is small relatively. Is everything turning into a micro trend? Will a trend actually stick and last for as long as it used to in the pre-internet and what would my pre-internet brain think of the clothes I yearn for now? Like yes sambas are trending but like converse, air forces, vans etc were trending and they never left and I don’t think they ever will. If I don’t like something immediately when I see it and come to like it, is it just repetition and brain rot thats made me like it? Must I wait years to know at the very least I know I truly like the style I do bc I have for like 6 years straight. Lots to think about ! Anyways excited for the niche trends vid ❤️ def subscribing. I just wanna warn you, I ordered some stuff from Minga London a while back (a baby tee and mini skirt) and it fell apart after a few wears. The stuff is cute but in my experience it was really cheap despite the price! Not sure if you've had some positive experiences with them before but that was my experience
