May God bless all people with visually impairment and any other disabilities. We shouldn't question the reasons , however it's so hard not to some times. I pray for my granddaughter vision and her well-being. I wish I could hold her and protect her all her life. She is my heart. Born 2lbs 9oz. She is now 8 year's old. God please surround her with angels of protection, healing, love, and joy.

It should be noted some countries have different criteria for what is considered legally blind.

If your scrip is -2.5 diopters then your eye is at +2.5 diopters

I am legally blind. My field of vison is not side to side its up and down. I eye 1% the other 0% crazy. I also have a few blind spots like straight ahead. I don't have much control over where my eyes are looking. I was born with good eyes. But no mussels to control them, Also no eyelids with no mussels to. I see from each eye independently. Plastic surgery fixed a lot. 12 by 8. Parents were not educated. I talked to the last Dr who operated on me when I was going trying for SSDI. (arthritis) This was in a medical study. He remember me well. He blew me away. My doctor told him NOT to tell my family because he did not want to limit me, He asked what I did. Driver License . Yes I was a 16 year old guy and have to learn. But did know driving was crazy so did very little. Yes I went to college and with reading very little. When I read it is its double vison.

I'm a blind lady in Los Angeles, California and I get nothing. Also I had a kidney and a pancreas transplant 5 years ago in other country. Do you know lower for disabled people in LA who can helps me? Thank you

My naked eyes👁👁are so good that I could see the contact lens in that woman's eye at 1:21! Even before she took out the lens! I love my eyes!😍👀☺😌
