This is Coreys working on his grandmothet to sue Rick.. Corey os a spoiled Brat.. There was an episode where he was mad about only 10%. Corey is smart but what a baby.. Without his Dad, he would be a blackjack dealer at a casino, or a pool boy...Rick is good man..People crap on him a lot, so he needs defend himself..

This is Corey behind the Scene, putting crap in hos grandmothers mind.. Corey was always whinning his father doesn't give him more...Episode on it..Corey at the start of show, was Horrible Brat. Jealous of his dad.. There was an episode where he was mad about only 10%. Corey is smart but what a baby.. You’re deluded. I work in a. Game close to lawn but different. It’s not an easy business. Many things can be broken, fake, stolen, or just damn hard to sell. What mark up do you think people make on new products? It’s often massively more than these things and easier to source. There’s a reason there are not many dealers in pawn, secondhand, and antiques and collectables - it’s hard work.

For more difficult to assess or expensive/spicy items he will request a subject matter expert but his general knowledge is known and well documented on appraising item values. He’s seen so many items over the decades and there has been many instances where he doesnt ask a friend and just starts negotiating. It is more interesting if for the show to ask another expert anyway. Besides it is all staged and appraised beforehand.

dude & dudess he is a TV personality, everything you see is scripted. Ever see a crowd in a pawn shop like his in each episode? All they show are buys buys never a sale from anyone in the background. Takes only a few seconds to see a customer hand over cash or check & exits w/ their purchase.

I recently found out that none of the main characters in the show actually work there. They had filming days where he obviously knew what was coming in that day to research the items. The “buddies of his” experts, most they didn’t even know. The show arranged that. On film days customers aren’t allowed into the shop, the people in the background are hired extras. That’s what I’ve heard about it, per entertainment news. I’ve been there myself. It’s nothing to write home about out and no one on the show was there at all.

Rick buys useless junk for ridiculous amounts of money , like the Willy Wonka items , and toys that may have collector’s today but tomorrow May be worthless .
