Us right here, right now still listening to this message is the ultimate testament to what he just said. He's been gone for 2 years but look what he left behind. Still saving so many lives with his teachings! On the contrary the regular joes that cling on to material wealth leaves nothing behind and are forgotten the minute they're gone.

Meditation is an experiential opportunity for one to cultivate a watchful mind over our body for what is happening inside us and therefore the various kinds of feeling accompanying this constantly changing stages of our own body. It acts as a drill for our own death preparation, so that one can stay as calm as possible and accepting the inevitable ending of our lives here willingly and be prepared at all times. For those aspiring and practising all their lives for a Pureland rebirth, there is a much better place than Earth to continue practising the Dharma there. 💖 Namo Amitabha. 南无阿弥陀佛 🙏

I’m becoming more and more convinced I have to stay on this dharma path and not get into any relationships. It’s really for the best as it distracts you from the main purpose. It’s what that made us stuck in cyclic existence, expecting securities from our husband and having enough $$ for the kids Etc

easy answer... I don't know 😕.. probably.. nothing.. for a long time... if you and your body are the same thing... there seems to be... something else, tied to the very fabric of the Universe.. having to do with the creation of new hydrogen atoms continuously all around us all the Time... we record our thoughts and ideas and words and deeds as we go through life... it's tied to the idea of karma... that recording is indelibly etched in the fabric of the Universe... and.. absolutely everything in the whole thing is going round and round really really fast... making new hydrogen atoms,... one at a Time in an infinite Universe ♾....so... I got here through the back door and science... trying to figure out how... from your wisdom.. thank you Master Rinpoche 🙏

There have been holy men, including lamas, throughout history who have taken wives and had children. I think it is a stretch to say having a family is somehow the result of bad karma. It always depends on the situation. Life is Life - the bird is life and the fish is life. Saying only one kind of life is holy is picking and choosing, placing demands on the world.

This teaching is ideal for people considering suicide. Taking your own life will just leave unfinished lessons to be completed in following lifetimes. This realm that we live in is for lessons - many of which that are difficult to learn but we made the choice to return here to complete the assignment.

12:10 the dharmma teacher. It explains why they killed Ghandi. They haven't managed to kill my body yet. Tsem. The guru, Rinpoche, Lama has to be born to teach the dharmma. Tsem, I can't say those who go to the temple, pray and wish for a child are wrong. Perhaps it's your next incarnation to share the dharmma. The axiomatic juxtaposed irony...

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. *Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.* Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, *Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.*

I stopped when he talked about parents at about five minutes into his speech. Why? Because I never had a father, so he did nothing for me. Mother was unfit and abusive ninety percent of the time, so no I do NOT respect them and I don't think about all the things they did for me. They should have never been my parents. I don't agree with these Buddhist teachings that we pick our parents before we are born. Nobody would ever pick these people to be parents! Nobody!
@claireclaire10663 жыл бұрын
I feel your pain meaning I understand. Who knows maybe we picked these individuals so they learn a lesson. If the lesson is not learned perhaps they carry it as their karma into their next life. Thinking this way allows me to feel the tiniest bit of something. I don’t know what that something is but I believe no one can cause so much pain without a consequence. I believe it’s coming. ❤️
@leifbennett13543 жыл бұрын
I understand the feeling you have expressed here. The same with my parents. The same for Tsem. Perhaps try to look at it from a different perspective. Set aside the perspective of what they did to you. Try to look at it from the perspective of, what you tried to do for them.
@DavidLKechara3 жыл бұрын
@HYTELES I think you and many here get the wrong idea of what karma is. It is not a choice like you are going to a store to pick up your groceries. It is a force that creates the circumstances in your lives based on your previous actions. Think gravity. Your parents treated you badly and in Buddhism, this is the result of your actions in a previous life. Not all actions return to us in this life. Many will come back to us in our future lives and we continue to pay for what we did. You obviously continue to hold on resentment to your parents for what they did and you have every right to do so. But at some point, you have to let go of that resentment and anger or it will make you into an angry person that will hurt others. In the process, you create further circumstances to meet with nasty people that will hurt you in this and future lives. This is what the Buddhists call cyclic existence. If you open your eyes with wisdom, you will see many people in your life and in this world is already caught up in this vicious cycle. Question is, do you want to continue.
@dengtan10723 жыл бұрын
HYTELES , My friend, I totally understand and sympathize for you. I know my life is no different than yours. I have dysfunctional family. My dad was very verbal abusive and physical abusive to all his kids and my stepmom. My biological mom got beat up everyday to the point she went crazy and that was when he dumped her and married my stepmom. I was the youngest child who didn’t get beat by him; instead I get beat up by my middle sister. Five of my siblings hated me for taking care of my stepmom. As I get older I learned my stepmom never truly love me because she allowed my sister to physically abused me. She never protected me but I protected her from my dad and all my siblings. It’s extremely painful and affect my health. As I get older I learned to let go as much as possible. So please go slowly to accept the past and let go. If we don’t let that pain go it will be with us forever. Think of all the good things you have done in life. Please remember life is just too short to keep the pain. We must use our wisdom to fight the pain and remember that this is a listen to learn. I wish you love, peace and happiness for many years to come. Open up more on dharma practice and one day you will be wiser and understand more.
