Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting the crossover series The Defenders, which will feature the heroes of four Netflix shows-Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. The first three heroes had series that were well received by critics and fans alike, but Iron Fist didn’t have the same luck. Most everyone agreed that a lot went wrong with the story of Danny Rand, which included poorly developed characters and underwhelming action sequences. Hopefully, they’ll be able to fix the problems by the time he teams up with the Defenders, but let’s take a look at what really went wrong with Marvel’s Iron Fist.

very clever word play. true, danny rand has never been an Asian character. it would be silly, after all, for an Asian to play a Caucasian. the iron fist, on the other hand, HAS been an Asian man. the iron fist has even been a woman. so you've pretty much stated a truism: a white guy has never been an Asian guy. very clever indeed.

The asian guy who played the drunk fighter was considered for the role. After watching 5 minutes of him you can clearly see that he has way more personality than the actor they chose to play iron fist. It's amazing how people overlook the entire theme of the damn show. "How does Danny Rand reconcile his upbringing with the life he was born into?" That one question sums up his entire story arch. He was raised as the immortal weapon The Iron Fist. He left his home to go back to the place that birthed him and be Danny Rand again. The life he comes back to isn't at all what he expected and he feels like a outsider while the life he chose to abandon won't stop chasing him. To reiterate, he was born to be Danny Rand but raised to be the Iron Fist. The season is about which life he will choose. Is he a righteous killer or a corporate hero? He wants to be both but he doesn't know how. The show is him exploring that dilemma.

That is true. He was a white guy in the comic books. So casting a white guy to play a white guy makes sense. The whole idea was to have an outsider learn the ways of the Iron Fist. I did enjoy Iron Fist TV show despite being a bit of a let down. Heck for me the boardroom drama was the highlight. The mystical Asian martial arts stuff was a bit lack lustre. The Hand better be more intimidating in the big crossover event. If we're uniting four heroes to take on The Hand, they better be more of a threat. Hopefully Iron Fist finds his feet in The Defenders.

I've never even heard of _Iron First_, but a quick Google search revealed that Danny Rand is pretty unmistakably white in the comics, to the point where I can't even imagine how you could think otherwise. I mean, the guy's so white he makes Louis CK look like Louis Armstrong.

you misunderstand. Iron fist was white in the comics, which was a problem IN THE comics too. With the TV show the show runners had a chance to address that but they chose not to. They could have addressed it by exploring what it meant for Danny to be an outsider in a tradition that was steeped in Asian culture. They could have addressed it by recasting him as Asian. They could even had made it the point of the story. But they chose to ignore it.

@@amazingmonkey886 did you care that they made Captain Marvel female when who's really male, the Green Lantern Black in the animated Justice League Series, Little Mermaid black, and they put non-white characters in the setting of France hundreds of years ago in the live action Beauty and the Beast when French people are as white as the rest of Europe and mass immigration wasn't a thing at the time? If you don't have problems with any of those things, then you have no reason to complain about Iron Fist and his race lest you expose yourself as a hypocrite.

They also horridly don't understand that also despite being a white guy, Danny should be very ethno-culturally Tibetan (or whatever passes for an easy analogue for K'un Lun). @@amazingmonkey886 why would they race bend a perfectly fine character, who's literally named Danny Rand, when there's tons of awesome Asian characters to choose from. There's nothing wrong with Danny being white. He always has been. If you don't like that, you simply don't like the character and the character's story. So move on then... You change that story and you have created a completely different character. Not only will that character be hindered as being a rehashing of a character we already have met, you simultaneously ignore fantastic characters of color that have decades of history. No clue why ppl that obviously don't know comics always come in and demand to see characters change when there's literally so many characters that they aren't even aware of.

One thing went wrong: Marvel saw how well Daredevil got received and wanted to follow the same formula with Iron Fist, so they made Iron Fist too realistic. They should have made it freaky with him using his powers way more often. It needed fight scenes with a bigger budget too. Iron Fist shattering the earth and causing an earthquake in the end of the show, should have been the first thing he did in the show and then make it cooler and bigger from there on.

@Mister-Thirteen
@Mister-Thirteen 7 жыл бұрын
No not really, he may have missed the argument people are making but he's right that this isn't white-washing. Danny is a result of a narrative tradition that we recognize was in hindsight a poor way to make use of eastern cultural in entertainment. That said the whole controversy kinda misses the point of Danny being pulled between two worlds. The people that raised him and the nation he came from all treated him as an outsider. culturally & philosophically Danny is a mix of Tibetan and Chinese (Not going to touch that political hotpot right now) but his ethnicity singled him out in K'un-Lun. In North America his cultural and philosophical ties brand him as clearly an outsider. Danny tried to integrate into K'un-Lun by striving to be the pinnacle of their order and obtaining the Iron Fist only for this to backfire and further separate him from his peers. None of this works if we they decide to make Danny Chinese (or Tibetan) as it strips the character of his central conflict and in so doing his drive. Danny Rand needs to be white for the same reason power man needs to black or Deadpool needs to have cancer, because its an integral part of the character's identity. Now the show utterly fails to actually take advantage of this and I think its likely that the writers wanted to avoid bring up his ethnicity at all in order to avoid the controversy itself. In the end a bad show is a bad show & nothing is going to magically make Iron Fist Season 1 good, we can hope however that they recover from this and bonce back....I'm not holding my breath.
@lvis11tj7
@lvis11tj7 7 жыл бұрын
Mr. 13, Making Danny Rand a white character from the very beginning in the comic book was indeed "whitewashing"....this was a problem from the start, it was done because in the 70's this was the way to do things, this was just a chance to correct an original wrong. so, when I say that he missed the point, I mean that the fact he was white in the comic book is where the whitewashing occured and him being white was a bad decision then. Your explaining of why they did it is called justification. The story of the white guy going to another culture and being a fish out of water and coming back and reclaiming their highest prize has been told ad nauseum ("The Great Wall", "Doctor Strange", "Arrow", "Avatar", "The Last Samurai", "Dancese With Wolves"....etc, etc, etc).......enough with showing white guys being the fish out of water, so no in 2017, they don't need to tell Danny Rand's story anymore
@Mister-Thirteen
@Mister-Thirteen 7 жыл бұрын
Firstly its not White-washing, that is when a character of an existing ethnicity is changed to a Caucasian actor or is reinterpreted as Caucasian. This is a character that has always been is still is Caucasian. Yes the use of the trope is seen today as something of a faux pas but its not some hostile attack or robbery as your highest prize suggests. Avatar, Dances with Wolves, and Dr.Strange are all examples of cultural clash and cultural inter-mingling that result in the central character becoming a better person for it, this isn't appropriation as much as tribute to the idea that we all can learn from one-another regardless of the cultural differences. Believe it or not culture is not a monolith and it doesn't just belong to any one group as over time those cultures change, intermingle and adopt new elements. As for justification it's hard to call what amounts to the origin story of the character as justification for a political act. This is who Danny Rand is, and to take the character and remove these elements utterly invalidates the idea of an adaptation. Finally, as for what story needs to told. That decision is not your or mine to make but the story teller themselves. You feel there is another story to be told? Tell it! People love stories, or does the massive multi-national entertainment industry not enough of a give away?

That may be his limitation or it may be because of lack of preparation. Also note that he's the Iron Fist and most of the time he's fighting regular thugs. Those fights are bound to be short and uninteresting or we'd be wondering why he needs to do three backflips to disarm a street level thief (you know, kinda like Daredevil does... +Asdertman The idea they were going for was that the idea of the character of Danny Rand is pretty dated. He's a white character who speaks fluent mandarin, is a kung master and is mainly inspired by asian culture. A lot of people saw this as a chance to pull a reversal of the charcter and make him chinese so that he wouldnt come off as a typical 'white savior'. personally i wouldn't have minded a white actor playing Danny Rand but Finn Jones was very miscast.

Except he really isn't. I will admit I haven't seen the series, but in the comics Danny isn't a "saviour". He's not even the only Iron Fist. Heck he's not even the STRONGEST Iron Fist. The K'un-L'un are more than capable of taking care of themselves. The reason he became Iron Fist wasn't because they saw him as a saviour, it's because he got lucky and the masters of the temple said "look if you can pass the test, then yes you can have the power." From what I've seen the series definitely needed some rewrites and maybe better casting, though.

+David, my take, Stephen can act, he just isn't strong enough to do it without good direction, if you've watched the show long enough, you've seen him do well. But if you look at the directors, there are certain directors who can get gold out of him. The last 6 episodes of Arrow he's been on form. Watch any episode where you thought he acted well, look up that director, find another episode with the same director, and there he is acting well again.

0:46 What??! He's clearly a person haunted by the death of his parents, having grown in a monastery where he was abused and forced to supress his emotions, gaining the ultimate power of the Iron Fist but still feeling empty inside, and going back to the only place he ever called home just to find out it's changed dramatically. His trapped between what he was taught to be his fate (to protect the sacred place, to destroy the Hand) and what he feels inside (wanting to reconnect with his parent's legacy and his former life, wanting answer as to what really happened back then that cause the plane to crash). He is AS complex as any other Netflix show character. 1:01 That's a LIE. He says MULTIPLE times he felt EMPTY inside, even after obtaining the Iron Fist power, which he thought would make him whole again. 4:25 It doesn't feel organic? The fact he questions the indoctrination he was subjected to? You're being so ridiculous right now. What about the ten years of life BEFORE the accident when he probably learned that killing was bad? What about Claire reminding him of the consequences of killing a person? It makes total sense that he would question what he was taught and try to find an alternative solution, even when he's consumed by rage. Because deep down he's still a good a person who wants to the "right" thing, and he's trying to figure out how to do that. It's also said on the show that killing someone would corrupt his chi and ruin his Iron Fist powers, so we don't even know if the monks meant "killing" when they said "destroy" The Hand. 5:00 I'm not even going to comment on the diversity problem because it's shameful that such a big deal is being made because a show decided to be FAITHFUL to its source material and AVOID the stereotype of an Asian who's an expert in martial arts. This video is so cringy I can't even finish it. Next time, do some actual research before making FALSE and INACCURATE claims.

Dude, the whole "he didn't know why he left his post" thing is bullshit. If you have even a slight bit of common sense. It was easy to tell, Danny Rand was coming of age. He left because he thought being the Iron Fist would be more glorious, he couldn't explain, because he was ashamed of that feeling. It was implied, not spelled out for us. He had a personal conflict of understanding himself, and what he wants.

1) They never read the comics. 2) Like Luke Cage both Iron Fist were made during the exploitation era. Luke was blaxploitation and Danny was the Kung Fu craze. People don't make stories like that anymore unless it's tongue and cheek because it's cultural insensitive. 3) Danny isn't the first white savior who came out of an Asian setting. Back in the day there were a lot of White characters who learned the mystic/marital arts in Asia who became their champion. For example Dr. Strange, The Shadow, even Batman to some extent. It's been done so many times it's a trope. The most extreme interpretations of it liken it to European Imperialism except in metaphor. Meet the natives and become their King/Champion/Leader in a nutshell. A lot of stories have been written like this which stems from people only having a cursory and exotic understanding of another culture. And unfortunately tends be the focus of many stories written by outsiders to another group. If it's an Asian flick shown in the West it will most likely be about martial arts. For a long time the only film you really saw about Africa were set during the colonial period and now it's local warlords. If it's about Pacific Islanders it will be set during pre-colonial times with people traveling on boats. Bottomline it's like being a well-endowed woman and people ONLY wanting to talk about her breasts. It's kind of dehumanizing. Iron Fist is getting the baggage by a lot of other things.

In the comics, they mention it. Danny even has a moment of self-guilt about it but sucks it up in a kind of "Well, I'm the Iron Fist anyway. Gotta be a hero." - The TV version NEVER has this moment. Never even seems to really respect his background. So there's no conversation to lead to understanding.

The call for an asian actor was a way to give a modern update to a character that was created in a less culturally sensitive time where asian characters and culture were portrayed in a mess of stereotypes and bad tropes. The "white savior who learns from another culture then becomes the best at it because destiny" doesn't send the greatest message, nor does having all your bad guys be racial caricatures that exist just to take up fight scenes then die. I heard a really good comparison when people were discussing the Hand in Daredevil: Imagine an equivalent show with a Chinese lead who must fight an organization made up of stereotypical cowboys. Just endlessly fighting dudes with lassos and pistols and they have magical powers related to shooting or something because American fighting is just so ~mystical~ and weird. All white characters in the show are cowboys, and very few have any relevance to the plot. Those that do are either evil or deferential and dependent on the main savior character, who dons a cowboy hat and saves America from the evil cowboys. Not a perfect comparison since evil cowboy organization sounds fuckin hilarious and I'd love to watch it, but you get the point. It's not good to portray an entire culture through such a silly idea. We can't totally fix the ninja/mystical bs stereotypes without changing the whole comic backstory but the main characters race can lessen the sting of said stereotypes without messing with the plot. He can even still be american. By making iron fist asian, the story becomes about a man learning about/celebrating/saving his own culture rather than a white guy barging in to appropriate and fix a culture he has no connection to, where the asian characters around him are treated as lesser by the plot.

As they said in the video, it's supposed to be about mystical kung-fu, and it's only fair to expect awesome fight scenes. There were some spectacular fight scenes in Daredevil season 1, and it only got better in season 2. Instead, Iron Fist was reduced to some people sitting around talking about all sorts of bullshit no one cares about just to stretch the "story" long enough to reach the right number of episodes. Not that Luke Cage was any better, though at least he got some interesting fights, and even a cameo as Power Man. My hope is that Iron Fist have a somewhat small part in Defenders, and mainly pops out to help with the big fights. He can still be around in the background and have dialogue, but I think it would be best if the three others carried him through it. Sort of like Hawkeye in Avengers. He's a vital part of the team, but hardly the one they should focus on. Let him be badass when he can, then put him in the background when they need to.

It was fine in a comic book setting when one can just throw logic out of the window but in a real world, it becomes nonsense.

I find his personality pretty consistant througout the series. He has no plan, has no clue what he's doing, is naive and can't make a rational discision , but rather follows his emotions of the moment, without realising the consequences of his actions. I'd say that's at least quite a refreshing personality to watch.

There's one serious flaw in this particular video, and that is this, you're assuming that the creator of this series intend Danny's character to seem that way. What if the intent is show Danny grow into the Iron Fist, and in doing so we'll find out his reason for going to New York. When that happens is when Danny really becomes the "Iron Fist" from the old movie.

He didn't need to look like The Rock, but something along the lines of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan or Scott Adkins would've been great. @sertaki
@sertaki 7 жыл бұрын
It's not that an asian actor would automatically make a better movie - the problem is the underlying (and rather old-fashioned) trope the show is based on: White guy learns asian martial arts, becomes more powerful than all of his masters, saves everybody. Add to that his "use money to solve problems" attitude and reported lack of common sense and you get the superhero equivalent of colonialism. It may still make internal sense but be flawed in many ways nevertheless. It's a similar problem the Doctor Strange movie had to deal with (though not quite the same), see also Avatar and Dancing with Wolves. PS: I am not talking about the series, just the character as a concept. I have not seen the show yet.

It's interesting weeks later after being released this review illustrates the disparity between the reviewers' point of view and the audience's, believe or not Iron First as a whole wasn't received all that badly by viewers as it was by critics, in fact, it was far and away received completely opposite from one another. Example: www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/marvel_s_iron_fist/s01/ For critics, like Looper, reflecting the status quo for what the view as the issue with Iron Fist, overall reviewers it hits 17%, but for the audience--ie the general public it received a 79%. That's an enormous disparity. It also exclaims a massive disconnect and ever growing chasm between critics/reviewers and the audience. I mean, personally, while I don't think Iron Fist was as good as Daredevil or Jessica Jones, I certainly didn't hate it and found myself simply just enjoying the show and continued watching it. The whitewashing issue for Iron Fist is nonsensical. You literally may as well ask why is Batman white, why isn't he Asian because learned martial arts and ninja shit. Their origins are relatively similar, parents are murdered as children, there's a conspiracy behind their deaths, and they're uber rich--their only departure from another is Danny is rescued by monks and Bruce utilized his wealth to learn uber shit as he got older. It reminds me the whitewashing issue with ScarJo in Ghost in the Shell as they did a sort of live action adaptation of the '95 movie, where even the creator of '95 flick thought she was perfectly cast because she looked just like the character and the Major could be whatever hell she wanted to be, Motoko Kusanagi wasn't even her real name. And for a character regardless of which irritation of GitS (whether it be SAC, ARISE, '95 film, or the original manga series by Shirow Masamune) racial and even gender identity are for the most part fluid for her and she took on whichever one suited her for her mission or just her personal preference (which often tended to be Caucasian or bi-racial Asian with Caucasian features (and that's by the creators' of each re-imagining and re-iteration of the character)). So in the end, the character appearing white or even taking on a cybernetic body that was white is a non-issue. Everything coming full circle it's much the same with Iron Fist, the character since his origins decades ago when he first appeared in the comics was as a rich white kid, he was one of Marvel's riffs on a Batman-esque character (but with a mystical slant instead of a technological one), and it never gained much traction as Iron Fist never became that popular of a character. But nevertheless, he was always white. And besides, if you're going to say that Iron Fist can't be a badass kung fu martial artist because he's white (which is pretty racist when you think about it), you may as well try to explain to Chuck Norris he shouldn't know karate. /shrug

Criticizing a show is not hating it! Learn the difference. This show contradicts itself, the story made no sense, the lead character is no where near some champion fighter that he was supposed to be. To sum it up, this comic book character should stay in the pages of a comic book. Bringing him into the real world where he has to obey real world logic when the character is not even logical is a formula for failure.
@Apillis124

Ok, rather than "hate" I'll say "dislike", but from your criticisms there, it sounds like you hated it. You see, criticism and hate can overlap, hate isn't always as strong as a word as many peoples delicate sensibilities often take it for preventing them from simply admitting they hated something as trivial as a tv show... perish the thought. How uncouth. But, everything you just said there, you may as well say the same about Daredevil as they used demon magic to resurrect people (as well as corporate and government conspiracy politics with no basis in reality especially with the armies of nameless mooks they throw around), or Jessica Jones (my personal favorite comic tv series) where a guy uses pheromones to mind control people. Or how about Deadpool the highest grossing rated R movie of all time where an uber former black ops soldier turned merc's severe terminal cancer mutates into super cancer making him pretty much immortal. Tell me where any of these things (and many, many more) followed or even slightly "obeyed" supposed "real world logic" where Iron Fist failed to. All of which critically acclaimed but in no way follows reality and in many cases makes it utterly bend from a straight line into a right angle, especially the blockbuster Marvel flicks No one is making the claim that Iron Fist's narrative was a great one, merely an entertaining one (hence why it's currently Netflix's most binged show to date), but to "criticize" it for not following "real world logic" while other comic shows and movies completely toss it aside and manage to reach great acclaim is creating a nonsensical double-standard.
@Uouttooo

Jesus! I don't hate the show. You just love to put that word into people's mouth, don't you? It makes it so much easier because you can just call them haters instead of people having legitimate criticism. I was very excited to watch it after the other three shows which were all of fairly high quality. and then it became nonsense, self-contradictory and defy basic logic. It just became so frustrating to watch when they ignored normal logic.
@Apillis124
@Apillis124 7 жыл бұрын
Ok, reading comprehension, you're not utilizing it. Point to where I told you that you said you hated it or anything. Reason why you can't is because I never did. I stated an opinion that it seemed to me that you did, but stating an opinion that it comes off to me that you hated it and me saying outright that you did hate it are two very different things. To use your own words, "Learn the difference." One is an opinion coming from one's point of view while acknowledging that it may not be the case, another is stating how you feel when it is otherwise. If you actually read anything I wrote, you'll notice I never did the latter, not once, anywhere. Go ahead, read up. You'll see.And again, "hate" isn't that strong of a word, it literally means by definition, "passionate or intense dislike". That's it. I also said--within the first sentence of my last post--and I quote, "Ok, rather than "hate" I'll say "dislike"..." (after that I just stated an opinion, not that you actually hated it--only that it seemed that way to me, again, follow your own advice, learn the difference). So, would it be fair that you "disliked" the show? Or is that still to powerful of a word for you to handle? As far as your other criticisms. The other three shows. Daredevil... a blind kid's eyes gets hit by radioactive material that enhances all of senses and enables to become basically a super ninja with super senses to fight hordes of supervillain corporate mob boss mooks. Jessica Jones... once again radioactive material slashes on her giving her super strength and super durability enabling her to nonchalantly lift cars and throw people 30+ feet with ease, while fighting a guy who uses super powerful pheromones to control peoples minds. Luke Cage... a dude who underwent a severe experiment that gave him unbreakable skin able to withshand buzzsaw to the abdomen and not receive even the faintest scratch. But suddenly, a show about rich kid who loses his parents in plane crash and is rescued and trained by monks is just a bridge too farfor because THAT'S the show that's abandoning all logic. If you hadn't noticed... they've all "ignored normal logic" quite abundantly a long time ago. That line of criticism is just absolutely nonsensical...

It would be hard to justify making the most iconic superhero in the world a totally different race. The Iron Fist is a nobody in terms of popularity. They did themselves a disservice by not making him an Asian American. The story would be exactly the same except Danny Rand would be discovering a culture that he or his family lost instead of barging into a culture that was never his. If you can't understand that, you're being willfully obtuse.

I actually LOVED the parts dealing with Danny's old friends and their interactions and struggles in their lives. To be honest, they were MUCH better written characters than everyone else in the show. You got a sense of who they were, who they are, what they want to become, their struggles to get there, and what they eventually became instead. Which is much more interesting than how they developed Danny's character.

I believe a number of the show's problems come from just how rushed the show was to make way for The Defenders. It's so clear that this show desperately needed some rewrites. Like I don't know what the writers were thinking, but what was the problem with sticking to the original origin story from the comic book. The best example of this is the fact that in the comics Danny knows from the get go that Harold Meachum was the one who murdered his parents, because Meachum was with them on their trip to the Himalayas. Granted they were walking through the Himalayas rather than flying in the comics, but still the last thing Danny see's before finding K'un L'un is his Dad being murdered by his oldest friend, who then leaves Danny and his mother to die, and THAT'S why he left K'un L'un, revenge. Something so simple that anyone can understand it, if not condone it, something so easy to get behind for a character. He fight's, and claws his way up from his lowest point to become the greatest warrior, only to leave because he just cannot let go of his desire for revenge. Boom, instant relatable character motivation. Like, let's say we have the same set up, Danny and his parents are on a trip flying over the Himalayas, except in this version Harold is with them, yada yada yada something happens Harold pulls a gun out, and shoots Wendell, turns to shoot Danny when Heather jumps on top of him to shield him from the bullets, once again Harold is about to shoot Danny when something goes wrong and the plane crashes. Danny survives, and the last thing he see's is Harold, who also survived, running off into the distance. Then Danny is taken to K'un L'un where again, he fights tooth and nail driven by his desire for vengeance to try and attain their highest power of the Iron Fist, which he does, then he's offered a choice. The Gate to K'un L'un is open, he can stay in K'un L'un as their champion, or he can return home. Danny, as stated before, chooses the latter because he just cannot let go of his desire for revenge. Hell it'd be even better if you kept the beginning where he's coming back, and meets Joy and Ward. All you have to do is make him come back, and ask where Harold is. Joy and Ward inform him that he died in the plane crash they thought killed him, and boom now Danny is lost. He can't go back to K'un L'un because of the choice he made, and the gate being closed, and even worse the singular goal he's held for his entire adult life is now forever beyond his reach. From this point on we have a fascinating character study about a man who has worked all his for a single goal, and now he doesn't know what to do with all of his power, which becomes the catalyst for him becoming the hero he was meant to be. I suppose I should be clear that I'm a huge fan of the Iron Fist comic, and I actually liked the Netflix series. I was just so baffled by some of the changes they made to the original story. Changes they didn't need to make. This is why I was thrilled to hear that for season two they changed to a new show runner. This new guy Raven Metzner, claims to be a huge Iron Fist, and just a fan of all things martial arts which sounds awesome, and makes me happy, then I looked at his IMDB page, and saw that the last Marvel product he worked on was writing for the 2005 Elektra movie...........well shit. Though to be fair, he's also a producer for the Sleepy Hollow tv series, which I've never seen, but from what I've seen it's actually pretty good.

The main problem with the character of Danny Rand on this TV version, it is based on the fact that he is "written" to have the mind and stamina of a 14 years old. Growing up as a monk who still have quotes on how he laughed with his donkey.... Trying to forge him into a warrior with a mission, where there's a real lack of meaning is the issue. The bad guys were nicely put together, father and sons, and then its flipping after a few episodes... The original comic character is closer to Dr Strange, in fact, that should have been the plot and finally the logical the adding dimension of all the "Justice" in the defender, Daredevil "the blind Law", Jessica Jones "the girl wrongly accused", Luke Cage the "injustice that bring justice", and Iron Fist "the mystical justice"...
