That’s so awesome that you play dolls with your daughter! She will always remember that! My mother played dolls with me when I was little. She and I have always shared a love for dolls! Mom is 89 now!

I have PTSD. I have a real child that is almost grown. I miss having something that needs me all the time. My reborn fills that role. I can hold him and love him when I need that extra support and on good days he spends most of his day in his bouncer. It's better than getting a new pet or having a human because it gives the support and freedom I need.

Loved meeting Teddy!! I have seen this little guy in videos of doll shows and thought “maybe”. Your video shows his true look & “personality” that touches your heart. So I totally get how you ended up purchasing him. You covered all of the aspects of doll collecting and the therapeutic aspects, the quality time you spend with playing with your daughter and the babies. She will carry that in her heart always. Please know,from a mom of 7 & grandmother to 13, that you are doing an amazing job balancing all of this adequately. Don’t you let even one negative comment or look make you feel inadequate in any way. You are enough. And with you sharing all this , you are more than enough. You have helped me to have another way to deal with bad days and return to spending time with my dolls. I lost one of my sons 3 years ago he was only 34. I have a 28 yr old daughter who ghosted us all with her 6yr old daughter & husband over 2 yrs ago and the pain and heartbreak is unbearable a lot of days from all this loss. Holding one of my dolls especially one my granddaughter played with helps. I am saving up to get one of these softer weighted dolls which I know will help even more with all this trauma and the weight will help with chronic pain from physical things I have going on. So thank you for pointing out all the benefits of doll collecting that people may not know. I know dolls helped with some of my dementia nursing home residents when I was a cna. Sorry this was such a long comment but I felt you needed to know what a blessing you taking the time to do these videos and your honesty and caring heart makes a difference for your followers.

I love your topics, Tori! So balanced and so kindly put! That is such a darling outfit for sweet little Teddy! The dolls’ role in my life has changed drastically, too, just in different ways. I also used to rely very heavily on them, because I was struggling with some big, dark and difficult things. I relied too much on them, in fact, to the point that nothing doll-related was ever enough. I always wanted more because I was trying to fill a void that dolls were never meant to fill. I had to do a huge amount of work and look all those scary things in the face, and sometimes I still do. These days they still play a big part in my life, but now I feel so much joy in that! Of course I still see things I want, but it feels like a normal want, not a need. I always dreamed and hoped to be a mom. That never happened, and unless something really crazy happens, it never will. I’m even making peace with that now and happy with my life the way it is. But sometimes I still want to experience some of the fun moments of enjoyment of babies, and the dolls help with that. I also just love having creative fun with them, imagining them as little 3d characters with personalities and even backstories. I love that you and your sweet daughter get to share this love and fun and have special bonding time over doll play!

Teddy is so adorable! I'll watch any of your videos involving him. Your purchase of Teddy last year got me liking this sculpt with the sweet smile, and I invested in one too! The Paradise Gallery Dolls here in my house go to school & back at times during the year. I teach special education, and I have Emma, Gigi, & Noah. Some of the students really enjoy them. I also have Mi Amor to teach about the heart/heartbeat in a less threatening way for students who are scared of stethoscopes from medical procedures their health challenges require. They stay on a top bunk and my kitties think they are real, yet quiet humans. They love sleeping with them. So no, there won't be any reselling, as the dolls are around the cats always, but I'm happy when my students & the kitties are happy too. The reason for the top bunk is safety, cuz I guarantee that the dogs would have a different viewpoint, so they aren't allowed to interact with them unless under my supervision. I run a pet rescue family style, so there are no places that animals are refused access. My home is their home and we cohabitate throughout it completely. Have a blessed week!

My reborns play a huge part in my life, even though I didn't get into them until 2011, where I got my first one. They were really mean a lot to me and I just love shopping for them. I'm working on building up the courage though to taking them out again, for I did it once. I love my reborns and I'm working on getting my third baby, but I don't know if I want another boy or another girl. Plus @Tori's Reborn Babies I love your videos. They brighten my day.

My realistic baby girl doll: Misty I have she gives me comfort, relaxation, something to pretend with that she really needs me as a mommy just like a real baby does, helps me with my mental health issues most of all my Anxiety, plus she gives me something to love even though I know she's not a real baby, and can't give love back. But I can pretend she gives love back.

Love I love that me and my sister have wonderful doll collection of so many dolls now and I love them very much as soon as my sister ❤️❤️ I have autism and my sister gets migraines so it helps us with them it helps us not get bored and it helps us with certain things and it helps us with our stress level ❤️

Oh Tori theis is such a good video!! Since i just started last year, i feel bad sometimes i dont get enough time! , but, like you say, we are all in different sasons of life. For me we are now both retired 🎉🎉which is wonderful to enjoy, but now my husband is home!!! 😂😂 imagine, no kids, your in retirement to enjoy ykur dolls and then your busier for some reason!! ❤❤😂😂 i dont know how i got as much done as i did when we were both working!!😂😂 living in Minnesota with drastic all 4 seasons, summer is busiest!! We only have a few months of summer and it goes fast esp. When we have a cabin, a camper/ fishhouse rv for both summer and winter fishing!! I love that time to bring a couple babies to enjoy inside with nothing else pulling me. I am still busy with our grown daughter and her hobby dog shows. In fact i am going ro stay with her today. 😊😊 I think you balance your growing family well!! You are a busy busy mom and still make such nice videos for ua to enjoy!! Hi Tory, i loved baby’s all my life. Looide after my 2 young siblings when i was young. ( 11-13 age diff) later I took care of baby’s my whole working life as a nurse. So after my retierment I miss them so much. Ik love to change them, looking for vintage stuff, inclusief prams ( old English Silver cross) and so on. Now i also love to make Reborn dolls myself.

I love our doll collection that we have because when I was younger my mom used to sell my dolls so I couldn't enjoy them I had cabbage patch kids as a child and I still had my first cabbage patch kids but they got lost and but I only saved two from my collection My mom was a nice mom but she took advantage of me and took advantage of my dolls and she make fun of me ❤️❤️

Me and my sister are going to be getting a toddler doll of the end of this month her name is going to be Savannah Rose I told my dad that I wasn't going to get any newborn dolls ever but I ended up getting them anyways because I found the right ones that I liked

Are are newborn dolls they like to sleep they have beds they're fine they're safe and are American girls are the same way and our baby dolls and the closet The only ones that we usually play with are my American girls Angie and Sarah and Paris in Arizona All the rest of the American girl dolls they don't like to get up or my Barbie dreamhouse the dolls don't like to get up The only dolls that like to get up are my newborn dolls Amber and Maggie May and princess Chanel and pretty soon it's going to be Savannah ❤️❤️
