Me too Sis. Full of Grief after my Mama died in May 2023. Not sleeping, depressed, overworked, unappreciated, Single with no kids, so theres no help, financially struggling, unhappy and everyone expects me to be the Strong one... that's on my job & in my Family. I don't live near my Family at all. I've always been the one checking on everyone else, but not lately. It all came to a halt 2 weeks ago and I literally broke: Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually, and Physically. But listening to Bishop TD Jakes sermon last week (I'm a eChurch Member since 2020, but been listening to him since the 90's.) Then this Sunday I watched part 2 of his Sermon and Pastor John Hannah's Service this morning where The Holy Spirit just took over that whole Sermon!!! I feel revived & got so much cleaning done today! Lol. I'm thankful that Jesus came and got me out of that pit!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

This happened to me when the Holy Spirit fell upon me. I couldn’t sleep for months-- no exaggeration! I had no idea what was going on because it was all so new to me. The downloads kept coming in night after night. I had so much energy and felt a sense of being immersed in pure joy. Prior to this, I've never experienced such a thing. I thought I knew what joy was-- NO! Not until I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Most of the time I did not even feel tired. I was so fearful that the Holy Spirit would leave me if I complained. I thought, "What if I lose my gift because I cannot handle it?" The Lord knows that I did not want to lose my gift! I finally spoke with my Brother-in-Christ who informed me that the what I was experiencing was the glory of the Holy Spirit. He counseled me in regards to how to addresses the Holy Spirit so that I may rest. He reminded me that our spirit is inhabiting an earthly body. Sleep and rest are essential to operate the vehicle we know as the earthly body in order to function properly. So, after politely speaking with the Holy Spirit, I was finally able to sleep. Sigh of relief! I slept like a baby! 😂HOWEVER, the Holy Spirit STILL wakes me up several nights a week. There are periods where I am awake 2-3 days if He has something vital to tell me, or there to prepare/comfort me in times I get up to write down what I see, hear, fell, smell, etc. Lately, He's been waking me up with music/songs. Those songs have vital messages in them. My Sister-in-Christ, you are handling your God appointed assignment well. Do not forget to pour into your own cup daily and ake care of yourself! 🙏🏾💖🕊

Don't be too hard on yourself about getting sleep. Even if you don't sleep just make sure you lay down and close your eyes maybe do some like four-way breathing or meditating always makes me fall asleep. I just breathe and start at the top of my head and say to myself relax your forehead, relax your eyes, relax your ears, ect. All the way to the tips of my toes. And even if you stay up for 2 or 3 days eventually when your body is tired enough you'll fall asleep.Good luck✌🏼

Hey there Sister, I've been learning how real it is to declare God's promises that i thought I agreed with (until life happens at the pace and weight you're describing). Every day is walking with God in the present, His presence, and coming more and more into agreement with what He has already declared through His Spirit of Truth. I know you know this, and i technically did too, but experiencing the duality of the nature He allows us to experience is like how you cant see a photo as sharp - without contrast. He still allows us to be sharpened by His Word the more we meditate on it. I pulled up these specific verses to you about rest because He probably wants you to incorporate this as you have already experienced so many reference points of relation to others who may need your experience of growth in this mantle. Rest is a promise of God to His children. I encourage you to receive your total inheritance. I had to humble myself in order to allow God to change my perspective on this, and still do. Im autistic and prophetic in the way where we can't turn it off, but God brought a prophetess into my life who led me to breakthrough on this matter with these verses: Exodus 33:14 Proverbs 3:24 Psalm 127:2 Psalm 23:1-3 Psalm 116:7 Philippians 4:6-7

Pray in the spirit more and when you sit in the presence of God in your prayer closet, take the time to close your eyes and just breathe. Be still and just breathe and keep your thoughts on Him. This will strengthen you. Also do that burden test. Ask God to take any burdens off of you that you are not unaware of. This will happen when we pray and minister to others sometimes. I pray for people only after seeking God first but I still do this. I notice when I was reading Mathew that Jesus would always go to be by himself after he healed and taught the multitude. I pray that this helps.

Hey sis, I can relate to this 100% and nobody really can understand what you’re going through or what it’s like for you but God and I remember one day one of my close friends had told me don’t be afraid to tell God how you feel this is your honest emotion and its ok that you’re tired and you’re restless and you’re constantly pushing forward to preach and teach and minister and you’re drained, but be honest with him about it. I was at that exact point where you were feeling, completely horrified, ungrateful to even utter a complaint about my calling, anointing and my purpose, because in my mind in my heart with all of me, I know this is why I was created and to bring those requests to God just really made me feel…. 😢 the thought alone broke my own heart and I didn’t even say anything to him about it at that point. But I had to also understand that the only one who can refresh me is God but girl I am telling you you do not understand how much your testimony in this is resonating with me also with where I am currently living at. I am very much looking forward to dwelling in my promised land in this place of restoration where I can experience rest true rest, true freedom, better health recompense, all that because the journey and transition to get there has not been easy but we are persevering we are enduring and we are suffering because one day we shall reign with him so I just wanted to tell you that I love you sis and just keep your head up because you’re not in this alone, everybody who has a Calling who is true to the call is going through the same thing maybe worse maybe less but we all have to bear what we are ordain to bear in Jesus name. ❤❤❤

I hear ya on the sleep dear. Since God has moved in my life and iv been seeking him on a new level, rest or sleep has been a challenge. Maybe 1-2 hrs a night although he gives me enough energy for the next day, that said I know how it feels you'd like to get some sleep laying there. God bless you and trust his plan

Chelsie, I share the same feelings you have as far as me being in this homeless shelter. My sleeping patterns are erratic. I am so ready to live in my own place. But the Most High has me sorting out different ways of earning income right now. I, like you, do not have a job either. My entrepreneurial spirit is mounting everyday and it will be unleashed on one of these opportunities that the Most High has put in front of me. Stay strong.

Many Christians, especially the religious ones, see God as black and white. For example, if you’re going through something, it only means that God is punishing you or they’ll say something cliche like “count it all joy”. That’s what I’ve had religious Christians tell me. If you constantly quote the Bibles’ cliché scriptures, instead of giving a word that is refreshing to the soul/ personal then it lets me know you do not have a personal relationship with God because you’re just basing experiences off of Scriptures that you weren’t even there to personally experience. I’m glad you brought this up because some of them need a reality and humility check. These are the types who feel the are pillars of Gods kingdom but God is literally laughing at them in embarrassment.

When I speak about God and Lord Jesus to the ones around me and or family they treat me like I'm delusional and just using God and Jesus to justify my paralysis analysis, and yes I've been struggling with addictions but I do diligent work in the word of God and my research still they give me the the feeling like im the only one who knows and thinks God is real. Like a kid would believe in Santa, God has no physical means of even backing me up. If I keep waiting for tangible results to describe my faith I'm just going to look like a fool. It's like what am I missing.
