Outgoalied is a terrible way of putting this series. Hellebuyck is being peppered with 35-45 shots per game. Winnipeg’s offense has been so poor, that they’re playing defense most of the game. As an Avs fan, we’d love to take him off your hands if you don’t want him anymore

@@ZZ-950the point I’m making is ppl are saying Hellebuyck is a liability. Some are suggesting he be benched. If that’s the case, most teams would love to take that “liability” off of your hands. Trade Mackinnon?…no, of course not bro. 😎 What do I know though, I still have hopes that Landeskog will return this year 🤷‍♂️

The Avs are the ultimate sleeper team, even their own fans were panicking after game one then KABOOM! completely broadsided the Jets with an incredible flick of a switch. Bones’ contract is up after this season, club option for the third so he’s done. Bones just simply couldn’t adjust the team and wasn’t prepared for a mobile fast offence

It's time for Chevy to go. A fresh pair of eyes is needed in the front office to evaluate how to assemble a team that can win in the playoffs. The Jets need a GM thst is willing to make hard moves and take big swings. 2018 was a prime example of Chevy's limitations. After a great season and deep playoff run, that was the chance to build on the success and add some pieces. What did he do. He didnt bring back Stastny, who had great chemistry with Laine and Ehlers, and he wound up having to package Armia in a package to get rid of Steve Mason. That was it. And the Jets collapsed in the last few weeks of the season to lose the division and then were bounced in 6 games.

I dont understand why Chipman and True North are almost afraid to fire a GM or Coach. Every other organization will make changes in coaching or management staff after failures year after year.... look at Seattle firing a coach after only 3 seasons and in their 2nd ever season they knocked out the cup champion Avs. Yet he's gone. Vegas fires coaches for minimal failure but Winnipeg keeps coaches until they quit on their own

The problem is that Chipman relies too much on loyalty and friendship and not about results. And the same goes for Chevy. It's great to rely on loyalty and friendship in the WHL or ECHL. But in the NHL, it's a results-based business. And that means making the hard, but necessary moves. Chevy's been the GM for 13 seasons and the team has won just 3 playoff series, and just one since 2018. That is just not good enough. Just making the playoffs is not good enough. And they want fans to spend money buy season tickets. And why the hell should fans spend their money when management is not fully committed to doing whatever it takes to win? That's what is holding this franchise back. The mindset isn't to win, it's to reward loyalty.

The Avs have been picking up steam since 1/2 way thru Period 3 of game 1. Their game suddenly exploded to Godzilla mode and it has caught the Jets off guard - after they dominated the regular season series. Now down 3-1, they will either lose fighting back like the Japanese army or can they quickly re-discover their regular season King Kong mode.

@@whatdafrog Even Avs fans disagree with that. The Jets skaters were constantly getting caved in and giving up 35-45 shots and allowing a bevy of high danger chances. Helly had no help in front of him. Look at the games in the regular season and look at the playoffs. In the regular season the Jets weren't giving up even close to the same number of high danger chances that they gave up on this series. You can't expect to keep giving up high danger chance after high danger chance and expect the puck to not go in the net. Game 4 could have been 10-1 if Helly wasn't in there because there was no help. Guys constantly giving up the puck away and allowing Avs' players free reign to the front of the net. It was a shooting gallery.

@@johnkc4775It's on the GM, because who brought the players? Chevy. Far too much he is too conservative in making big moves. This team has needed to upgrade the blue line for the past few years now. And the only changes have been signing Logan Stanley to 1-year deal and adding a depth defensemen in Colin Miller. He is not willing to make the hard, but necessary moves. He relies too much on loyalty and friendship. That's good for the WHL, but not the NHL. This is his 13th season as GM, and the team has 3 playoff series wins. That is not good enough. The Jets need a GM that is concerned with winning, and willing to do what is necessary to achieve winning.

Pretty simple from a fans perspective: Chevy gone, Bowness gone, Powerplay coach gone, Penalty kill coach gone, Shop Ehlers and maybe even Connor unless he still has major issues from the knee surgery that accounts for why he hasn't been 1/2 the player he was in the beginning of the year. Toffolli will leave at the end of the year, terrible skater. Try to keep Monahan. Keep Morrisey, Demelo, Dillon and Sandberg...all of the rest of the D...I'm tired of seeing screw up over and over again. They wouldn't even be a third line pairing on Colorado. Keep Lowry, Barron, Perfetti, Vlardi and replace the rest. Get some players with some mental grit. Find players that know how to play the game after two losses in a row. Keep Brossoit no matter what it takes. Start there and maybe I buy seasons tickets again. Edmonton, Dallas, Colorado and Vegas are gonna be strong for a long time. Even Vancouver looks like they are solid for a while. This conference doesn't get easier any time soon.
Chips evolution !! 😔😔
