Armada is the first miniature tabletop game I played. It feels like everything has gone down hill after FFG kicked it to AMG and all the focus has been on Shatterpoint. I just really want to see some new official expansions. Taking inspiration from custom 3D prints, I'd love to see something like a Dreadnaught Cruiser that could be used by all factions.

As someone whose friends play Clone Wars fleets, the biggest thing they need is more expansions. They only have four ships, four squadron types, and something like six commanders.

I really want the Arquitens to be available for Republic fleets. And i really want new ship expansions to be announced in 2024. Armada needs some loving.

I think the easiest thing for AMG to do was to do the single expansions for the core ship sets from the clone wars, and a squad pack 2. And they haven't done that yet. And woth rapid reinforcements, they should just sell physical copies. I am hopeful that this year will be different, but I am not holding my breath.

First started picking up Armada ships in the last year when I saw some in the local store (didn’t actually know it existed before then). Although I haven’t played much, I’ve spent a good chunk of change collecting an imperial fleet. Hope they continue to support the game, it’s a great game and the minis are nice!

Ships which haven't been shared between factions yet: Imperial Nebulon B, Republic Arquitens (thanks for including it in the video), Rebel Flurry/Quasar, Seperatist stolen Venator and Consoler

I really hope to see more Star Wars armada. It was my first table top game and still has my favorite miniatures. They have no assembly they look great and you don’t have to paint them.

Re-releases will be amazing! The idea of a compiled rule book is probably my biggest want.

As someone who just picked up the starter box and then some nice discounted ships (because the models are nice as well) I hope amg shows some love to the game. Maybe even some neutral ships anyone can pick up would be nice like the Dreadnought or Interceptor-IV

Things I'd like to see: 1) Commanders for Republic and Separatists. Maybe also a Moff Gideon commander for Empire. 2) Titles for ships. We has rr1 with no new ship titles for them. Would be nice to have. 3) second varient for the ships that came out in rr1. Like a Victory Prototype or Venator Refit 4) non-ace squadrons. Hell, I'll take a group squadron like rouge squadron (this breaks from their philosophy 5) physical product, including cardboard and cards from rr1 and rr2. Easy money 6) hope that it will be supported by a studio who has an interest in the game

I don't play Armada. But I'm glad it is still being supported. Nothing sacks more than being really interested in something and then it goes away.

I would love AMG reprints to be different paint schemes. Nothing wrong with the originals, but as someone without the tools or especially the talent to do repaints, I'd love variation in my fleet so I can actually tell my ships apart. Even if it's the same paint layout but different colors.

I'd really like to see them round the CW factions, they really need a couple more ships per faction to really open up the list building. Keeping up hopes.

They need to update all of the old expansions to bring them up to 1.5. They should also remove the junk that comes in each expansion (dials, tokens, etc.) And make those separate packs, like they did with the command dials and speed dials.

My wishlist for 2024 is ship expansions for the ships in the clone wars starters! I would like squadron packs for the clone war factions aswell! A points overhaul for imperials and rebels would be nice (hello victory star destroyer you sexy medium beauty).

Can’t wait for more arquitens to possibly be reprinted! Been wanting one, especially for the republic!

RR3 I think CIS - Jango Fett squadron, Bossk squadron, Newt Gunray commander. Republic - Z95 squadrons, Arquitens, Jedi commander. Empire - Nebulon B, Krenck commander, another bounty hunter squadron. Rebel - Lando commander (for squads), Quazar with a title, R2D2 / C3PO crew. There is many of the commanders in game that don’t have a crew equivalent.

I was surprised rapid reinforcement gave the republic the victory and not the aqruitens, seemed like the more natural addition

I got the Armada core last year for Christmas and it's been a pain trying to find stock for new ships. My local game stores have nothing. I would love to see the Imperial light cruiser reprinted. I wonder if we'll get an Empire or Rebel starter box in the future?

For the Separatists, I would like to see the Subjugator-class heavy cruiser, DH-Omni Support Vessel and Diamond-class cruiser. I am not against the Lucrehulk, I just need to see how it would be balanced.

While I fully expect RR3. a second squadron pack for republic and separatists would be really cool. Some ETA’s, Gar gunships, and naboo fighters? CIS gunships, with infiltrators. Could really add to those factions

I still have my small but dear rebel and imperial fleets. I dont play armada, actually have no one to play against anymore, but I love the game so much and the memories from its release are too nostalgic to me. Once some years ago I sold my armada stuff ive collected since its launch. Regrettet it immediately and never stopped thinking about it so last year I stumbled on a sale on a local store and bough myself back the collection I had and then some. Ill never let these go, if just to take space on my shelf it brings a smile to me every time I pass the boxes.

I've still been keeping my eye out for any Imperial ship reprints. You know, just in case.

I really hope we get new physical releases next year. The initial "nothing in the pipeline" was up to 2023, so now 2023 is ending we should have new stuff next year, right?

I'm glad that I built a decent collection so that I can offer interested players a chance to play the game. I tell people it's my favorite tabletop game but it's hard to get into now because most game shops have cleared their inventory. I'm still trying to collect more ships but it's tough.

Got to play my first armada game in a LONG time and it felt so good to play again. sadly now my desire to play it has only increased lol

I'd take some reprints at this point. My brother and I are getting back into the game after several years, and while I can get most Rebel and Empire sets pretty easily, Clone Wars stuff is either super expensive second hand, or just not available.

I would love some neutral faction ships that have cards to play it with a few factions. Thanks for this video--I really appreciate the Armada content.

I got two Armada starter packs years ago, but only played it a few times with friends. My son is now old enough now and we play it together, he loves it. I’m really hoping for more imperial ship reprints, specifically the light cruiser and standard Star Destroyer. Also do you think you will cover Star Trek: Into the Unknown when it comes out? I know it's not happening and is only ever going to be a 3d print (short a massive sea change) But what I would give, for a lucrehulk model.

Armada 2.0 with a redone squadrons ruleset would be nice. Ships for multi faction use, have them a uniform grey and then in the box have a decal/transfer or clip on set you can add if you want, or just use the base to your faction preference.

Seeing this pop up in my feed after the news. Ouch, this aged poorly.

I got into this game in the summer and I absolutely love it. I think the recent errata changes to the onager and the RR2 materials were much needed and am a little optimistic for the future even though I don't expect any new product. I'd prefer them focusing on reprinting their standard ISD and arquitens to address those supply shortages over pushing out new ships currently anyway. The only thing I think Clone Wars is obviously missing is the Luchrehulk.

5 months into 2024 and I’m just over here waiting for ANY update from AMG.

CR90 forr the republic, a radical move would be to print ship cards for third party mini's, i know thats a stretch.

I really want a way to get more Acclamators and Munificent without having to drop like 150$. I would also really like the Lucrehulk but at this point I doubt we'll see any more physical now that seems to have died with the sale from Fantasy Flight.

At least Armada is not dead.. that fact make me happy

I would definitely like to see a revised rulebook, and reprints of popular and old ships. I’m new to the game, and slow to buy stuff as I try and spend money wisely. I probably have too many hobbies. But, I don’t want Armada and X Wing to be like 40k/GW products and have to rely on a secondary market that I feel over charges for oop models, or 3rd party/recasts, then to go hunting for cards. Won’t lie though, $60 + for a somewhat large ship… and 3D printing getting better.

Really enjoy the videos, very thoughtful and well put together ideas. I followed Armada some when it first came out, but didn't play any since I was paying for grad school and didn't have a job lined up. Only started watching your videos recently, but I am hesitant getting into Armada now since there isn't a good road map for the future or a strong player base near me. Has this held anyone else up from starting it?

We have a huge gaming store with minis and card games here in SoCal, it's sad to see AMG push their baby product Shatterpoint so much while neglected what brought FFG to the top with games such as X-Wing, Armada, and Legion. We even hosted the Regional Championship at one point, and we had a dozen play testers for the games mentioned above. Now NONE OF us play Shatterpoint other than one guy who hosts store tourny... Even he's surprised that Shatterpoint has such low player audience compared to prior games. This is what happens when a company just straight up ignoring what made them money in the first place. You can say the game got stale, too competitive, or whatever but a great gaming company should be able to tackle those issues without alienating followers/gamers that's been around for almost 12+ years at this point.

Yeah I would like to see another rapid reinforcements and it makes sense that would be what they do for 2024. They have been good stewards for the most part for Armada considering their limited resources so I look forward to what they come out with next.

Jango Fett in a Firespray didn't participate in the Clone Wars. He died like 2 minutes after the start of the war.

I also think it would be awesome to add merc ships that can be used in all factions, but limit one ship per fleet or make a point limit.

I feel like if they ever make physical ships again the first one needs to be the Lucrehulk. Its the first separatist ship we get to see in Star Wars yet it wasn't in the initial releases for the CIS? That seems like a glaring oversite. Even if they made it in the same power range of the ISD or Starhawk and not the SSD I would be fine with that.

I am quite happy with what we have already gotten in this game. As someone who has played many ffg games (yes, I know Armada is not ffg anymore), which have come and gone in terms of new expansions, I am happy with what we got. I would agree the clone wars stuff is super underdeveloped and has so much potential, but honestly the longer we have to wait for another physical ship, the more we will be excited about its release and enjoy playing as it. I am excited for rapid reinforcements three! I wish they would give us a rebel quasar!!!

Would be so happy if they finally released singles from the prequels starter packs. I know it's super unlikely and I don't even play those factions but it would be such a huge boon to the game.

It’s sad that all we have to look forward to is palette swapped existing ships and points/ability balances. It’s time for AMG to piss or get off the pot. Tell Asmodee to sell Armada of to a company that actually want to make the game.

I've wanted to get into Armada for a few years, but the lack of new content led me to choose Legion instead. I don't regret the choice, but I still want to play Armada. Gotta find someone who is looking to offload their fleet(s)

Honestly if we only see one thing next year I want the munificent and acclamator to get stand alone packs, because I really want another munificent but I’m not spending another 90 on the core set Because then the other 2 hard cells would just sit on my shelf and never get used

Rapid reinforcement is not a product. If i have to go and print stuff on my own. its a lazy product. I'm playing with what cards say until they get official products that i can buy. I don't want to go and print and cut out my own stuff.

I would like to see a new reinforcment like something from the sequal trilogy like the first order although the sequal trilogy was bad itself but the ships were actually well desgined like the resurgent class star destroyer

I'm definitely hoping for a points rebalance. There's some very obvious things that got missed when Armada 1.5 was launched, Victory Star Destroyers being the most egregious, but I think the MC80H could do with some tweaks too, and the rebel pelta could be a little cheaper.

I contacted FFG asking them if there is any hope of an official Lucrehulk battleship expansion for SW Armada, among others. I pointed out new expansions would be alot of revenue for them. They sent me a very snotty, formal response - which was basically a massive F**K OFF.

I don’t play armada, but I’m thinking of buying ship just for there look. 😅

For some like me who just started(one game played) and lives in Poland it's hard to get into Armada. Stores are empty in regards of dices, manouver tools etc. IF ships are available they are way overpriced. Damn, even the Cards Upgrade Pack I had to get from American Amazon, on "West" price...
