I’m loving this channel! I’m a widow and I don’t cook much, but simple recipes are always good to me. Your Dad is absolutely precious. I make that chicken pasta but instead of black beans I use peppers & onions and for seasonings I use dry ranch. A friend made it years ago it's been one of my favorites. ❤

I like corn in a lot of meals As a teenager i used to mix mashed with corn, peas, cheese, spur cream, hamburger and gravy you can make that as a mashed potato casserole it fills you up QUICK Mashed potatoes again! I must be craving big time....... Coffee in pot roast etc adds a flavor to it they say that spare rib meat in chili adds a LOT of flavor

I have found that if you mix the mayo and mustard and stuff in the potato salad bowl as the potatoes cool and then add them warm they soak up the flavors better.

Cole being Steven was the best part. Can I also mention how handsome and cute he is?! I just wanna pinch his cheeks lol

A good tip to keep the cheese from sticking to the foil is to spray the foil with cooking spray. Just FYI. 😊

We are from CT temporarily living in TN at a hotel. My husband's job is here for several months and I'm always trying to find meals I can make without an oven. I have our Instant Pot, one burner and can use a community grill by the pool. I made this meal for my husband and his crew on Friday night who have been working in 90 plus temps outside all week. Many of the guys are from the all over the south and missing home so I wanted to try something southern and the beans hit that mark. In the north, we pretty much steam fresh and smother them in something like olive oil, salt and fresh Parmesan. I've watched you make your beans many times and finally gave this one a try. (Cuz...bacon.) Lots of compliments about each item. The crew loved the meal from start to finish and went to bed with full bellies. Thanks!! P.S. Your dad is a ham. Adorable!
