Here in Brazil, we call this pose "braiding your legs drunk", because when a person drinks too much, they start to walk around "braiding" their legs without control. 😂 As for shoes, if a girl can't choose a bra, do you really think she would be able to choose decent shoes? I'm eagerly awaiting the messy hair on purpose analysis! 😜

I've found your assessments of Meghan's body shape so interesting because I have a very similar shape. But I can tell you that I have never stood like her, walked like her, lurched like her, crossed my legs like her, worn shoes that are too big, drowned myself in clothes 3 sizes too big, unbuttoned my blouse to my navel, plastered my skin with spray tan, or left the house without brushing my hair or doing it up in style that doesn't fall in my face. And I don't have millions of $. However did I do it⁉😂

She can come off kind of awkward I agree. But you know what's bugging me the most besides how questionable fashion sense is her insistence on wearing blazers and huge shorts. That might be appropriate for having lunch at an outdoor cafe with a friend or a barbecue, she wears it at all these other events. So out of step with the dress code. I once heard someone say that etiquette and manners were technically *"for"* other people. Making others comfortable in situations; meetings, conversations, etc. So it's not just about how *you* look, it is about putting other people at ease. To me that has been the best explanation of the importance of appropriate behavior and dress.

All teenage, college and young girls go through the casual “girly” years trying out outfits, etc. When Princess Catherine married Prince William, she was properly groomed: to be a QUEEN. The difference is Princess Catherine is a very well educated Lady from an exemplary close, decent family; has accepted and done everything from the Palace and RF correctly with grace, CLASS and Love for a young, beautiful woman her position. Harry’s wife came from a totally different family background (except a good father); self-made background (crass sexual worker); did not graduate from college and did NOT accept Royal grooming (though SHE is the one who desperately NEEDED it); not even for a Duchess when she married Harry. She is classless. Mindless. UNGRATEFUL. Bad. Period.

When he reached the door, he would turn around and be annoyed that I wasn't behind him. One time, a random guy was nice enough to slow down to my pace as we crossed a busy street that had no traffic lights or signs, just the white stripes for a pedestrian crossing. But cars were passing very fast. I was wearing heels. Of course, my ex turned around from a distance and looked very annoyed. My ex never held my hand. He said my hands were sweaty. And he always ended up walking ahead of me. I'm a fast walker but it's like I wasn't able to walk beside him. Even if I wore sneakers/flats.

Everything M does she heard, learnt or saw years ago, and probably only once. She then adopted it as the one and only way to be, on every darn occasion, and especially if it went out of fashion years ago. We all know her big shoes are an effort to counteract her painful bunions - which doesn't work because it does the very thing that causes bunions - shoves her toes into the point and crushes them. As for her trousers with an extra pair at the bottom - decades ago there was a bit of a fad that you should use lots of wide leg and tailor your hem to near the heel of the shoe. Everyone but M realized that having all this material dragging on the ground becomes a heavy wet and muddy mess, and even dry just looks ugly. She is so rigid in her thinking, from clothes to (lack of) personality, she is going to be one mean old person.

I have that, there's probably a name for it. I don't need bigger shoes because of it. I read models & celebrities do this for a reason. Beebs touched on this once, something to do with accommodating swollen feet. I also read double sided tape can help but maybe MM hasn't heard that tip.

This is another reason I always wear shoes with a platform in front. I've worn high heels since I was 14 (47 years) both because I love them, and I have very high arches. Flats are incredibly uncomfortable (& even tend to hurt both my feet & back). Platforms offer both extra stability & comfort while decreasing the feeling of being thrust forward off balance. I love the look of pointy toe stilletos (like Katherine's go to style), but I simply cant wear them. My feet are wide, so I need a rounder toe. The cushion of a front platform is so much more comfortable, and keep me stable & balanced. There are so many options in fashion, which is why its so much fun to play with. Wear what makes you feel pretty & confident, no matter what the current style may be. Styles change constantly, so wear what makes you happy! 💖

Ok, personally, I have horrible balance, so I will stand up with my legs braced apart until I'm quasi stable. But I was taught in my youth to stand, or pose for pictures with my feet in ballets third position. I just look at the Meg and how she walks and stands, and cringe. Then I think of how Catherine gracefully adjusted a slight wardrobe malfunction by standing on one foot, in heels. Total woman crush. I mean, come on, it was a whoops, pant leg caught on shoe, pause, adjust, move on, smile. If they hadn't caught the photos, no one would know.

Thanks Beebs, I had a thought about the crosslegged 'curve' pose that perhaps it dates back further than 'Suits' , maybe the 'briefcase girls' were coached to stand in a similar way for the wide shots like a beauty pageant line up.. Part of the problem is that that pose doesn't really work well from some angles and MM likes to give her whole attention to the camera.

The broad steps is emulating so called fashion influencers with their loping gait in content shots, and the legs apart thing is emulating a trend participated in by the likes of Alex Chung - also super thin limbed - to accentuate that, often with pigeon toes as well . Let’s face it, she really wants to be an influencer, we all know that from the so called pap shots and just about every public appearance.

That is possibly true. And it's so unattractive. She uses her legs to really project her sexuality. If she would just lighten up on the crossed legs when she's sitting, especially zooming by on display in a golf cart with Harry at Invictus. She was appalling. I'm so glad the Queen never saw such displays while Meghan was part of the Royal family.

That’s exactly right, she learned somewhere that crossed-leg pose makes her look more curvy. Sadly, someone told her that a belt or huge tie would give her more of a waist. I think she wears her shoes too big because her toes are damaged or she has bunions from wearing super pointy shoes throughout her life. Just like with a boxy frame, some feet were not made to fit in those super high pointy toed shoes.

Don't know if Smeg is same as me, but, I'm an odd shoe size. UK 41/2 is too tight size 5 too big. I tend to go for the smaller size in the shoe and the larger size with thicker sock and heel pads in a boot. Not going for pointed toe shoes help. All through school I was the shortest so had to take larger steps to keep up. Hubby has adjusted his stride so I don't walk quite like Smeg these days. Harry obviously isn't as considerate as my hubs and she seems unwilling to change anyway.

2:10 Pigeon-toed stance is actually taught this way for people in the public eye. It plants the person solidly, so they won't fidget from foot to foot. An example of a weak stance is Antony Blinken although he has improved lately. Likewise the cross legs, wide leg stance means 'action'. Also, an open mouth also helps, that also means action. These are not finishing school tips, they're professional acting and politician tips etc.
