I am just so happy I have my own site and market on social because Etsy is a train wreck these days and ALL the Etsy KZfaq videos take over my feed. Yours are the only ones I look forward to and actually enjoy watching.

Search is a mess. I have no views or visits for days and no orders. Same thing with my daughter who usually has 3 sales a day and it’s been crickets. Also same annoying shipping update message.

I don't know why they're messing around with search so actively right now, other than all the tech guys are madly in love with the idea of machine learning.

Agree about sharing the coupon codes in a group. Wow. That is crap. I have noticed one of my codes needs to be changed because people are using it that I know aren't subbed to my newsletter. Maybe it was stored by Honey or one of those shopping apps that gives you codes during checkout. Great video, thanks again for the information!

I was getting first time customers using the “10% off return customer coupon” and then getting free shipping with $35 spent. I had to turn all coupon off. So mad.

I turned mine off too, other than the abandoned cart one. They don't hand that out unless it's really from an abandoned cart. The favorites and return customer ones get sent to a ton of people who shouldn't be getting them.

Probably not, because I don't have enough members in the program to do one with that topic. If I ever change the structure of the website I mgiht, but no plans on that for now. That's not to say that patterns don't fit into other topics, though.

??? I’m always confused with how discount work… if you run sales, can customers also use coupon from your store such as abandoned cart coupons? Or they need to choose one or the other? (I’m quite new on the platform)

On Etsy the only thing they can combine is free shipping and a discount. So if they have two discounts (sale plus coupon) Etsy will take the highest value one and ignore the other one. If they have a sale and free shipping, or a coupon and free shipping, they'll get both.
