Sorry, thats my fault. I made a funny video of some mkolh40 deck list that got 80k views, later discovered Batosbuster and Halqdon combos, and ended up opening Pandora's Box. Dogmatika Burger is still the most optimal burger build rn despite this, you can fight me on that if you want.

@@ThatOneWeirdFlex Its one of the best uses of Batosbuster period, Magikey does next to nothing otherwise. I had that shit running with both Halq and Junk Speeder before Konami wiped out everything. It was fucking nuts. Plus synchroing off of Batosbuster and the funny burger to make Baronne was fucking OP. And that was all in an Impcantation deck. I felt like fucking Icarus getting around the extra deck restrictions like I did. I even managed to splash Yata Garasu in there since I was running the Shinobird rituals. It was such a crazy 50 card deck (i cant remember if i ever got it down to 45, its been months; its all on YGOPRODECK though, just look for synchro burger).

@@Sickness4daThickness well, tbf, VS isn't amazingly good, it's just decent and can be used to compete. So bumping the rarity (which is the most prevalent so far with VS) just because the archetype is "decent" feels more like Konami being petty for the deck doing more than they expected it should. Now, if the archetype was meta defining, that's a whole another story.

Just buy staples if thats what you aim for. OCG here, and many of my dino player friends opted to buy singles. Unless its different pull rate for TCG, based on what the box breaker pulled here in the ocg, it's not worth it.

Konami of america, in japan these deck build sets have cards printed in multiple rarities, less pack filler, and also cost way less per box so you can reasonably… build a deck with them

Kinda same as when the secret forces was released which was all foil set, but every good nekroz card was made secret rare and then ridiculously short printed (which konami doesn't announce or admit doing anywhere). The deck cost hundreds of dollars and was tier 1 deck so you kinda had to use fortune or not do as well in tournaments. Some people opened entire cases of the set without getting nekroz of brionac

Let me add whats more strange about this set. It used to be that you will have 3 whole cores in a deck build pack. This time, you only get 2, and a supplementary piece for an existing deck type, wich is Dinosaur. Its not even an archetype of it's own, just plain out support for a type of deck. Meaning 1 of the 3 "archetypes" on this set, you can't maximise without a preexisting dino deck. That's unprecedented as it only happened in this pack.

Not me literally just having made a “Hungry” archetype where Plant/Warrior monsters are used for rituals for a OC fan story where one of the main characters works in a restaurant and most of the main characters use food themed decks. (The main chars after uses the Madolche, her close coeworker use this “Hungry” arctype, and her boss uses a set of Warrior monsters based off of Bagles called “Bruggarian”s.

After playing the Hungry Burger deck in MD, I can get very consistent and good boards even on a brick. A 45 card deck including 4 Kaijus, 2 Effect Veiler, 2 Ash, and 2 Called By as non engine with Dyna Mondo and Nephthys, the Sacred Flame in extra. The rest are a combination of Nouvelles Rituals, generic ritual support (Pre-Prep of Rites), and a LOT of searchers to start my combo with the only main deck monster that is not a ritual, which can search any Recipe card including the continuous trap and counter trap to allow me to start plays on opponent’s turn or allow me to activate my effects without worry. Ash isn’t that big of a problem since there are so many baits for it, except for the ritual effects. Nib is useless since I can make a good board in 4 ss. Inf Imp is only going to help me since it targets. I can do a lot of plays under Droll. DRNM is tricky, but I won under its effect. I also found multiple ways to OTK with it despite its highest attack being 2400. It is a powerful deck in the hands of a good duelist and can beat powerful meta decks like Purrely, Kash, Dragon Link, Despia, etc. The counter to this deck is defense position monsters and non targeting effects, like VS and Ninjas. Overall, it is one helluva good deck that can be tricky to use and build, but once you got it down, you can cook harder than the pendulum monsters.

I second this, but unfortunately, the Burger memeing is strong with this one. The deck is all about serving small dishes to your opponent until they get almost full, and then drop of HEART KILLER BOORGIR into their gullet for the final blow! It's awesome, and the various art is awesome... and it's a ritual deck, so it's even more awesome... and it allows you to tribute your opponent's monsters, which is even more awesome... do you see where I'm getting at? We cannot allow the French to fck up OUR CALLING

Nouvellez are actually pretty cool. Loving the new wave of good ritual archetypes like Nouvellez, libromancers, etc. and V.S is a cool deck to go against. It’s good and it’s powerful, but I rarely feel like I’m at a disadvantage when playing against them (I play rogue decks like salad and beetrooper btw). All around cool stuff except for the rarity lol.
