I personally think Mourinho is kinda "finished" since his meltdown at Chelsea which sees him sacked mid season. His spell at United was sporadically good, but overall pretty average (although he didn't have that much freedom in transfer to begin with). I still believe thou, that Mourinho might fit Serie-A more than EPL.

The narrative is that his style of play is not fun to watch nor good for the development of the team. It’s kinda all in for the result itself. So if the results are not coming and the style of play is the same, people will always turn quickly.

Maybe it's not the same people spouting those different viewpoints and their voices get amplified by everyone else based on Spurs form. Personally I don't think Jose's been the same ever since that second season he had with Real and even though his teams have managed to grind out trophies since you never get the same sense of swagger Jose's teams once oozed.

That's because they NEVER have the ball because of his tactics. If a team isn't used to having the ball it's hard to get used to possession again. The team is filled with decent passers. It's completely Jose's fault.

The problem with mourinho at time he goes too defensivly when he can batter teams with the attack and under pochetino they scored so many goals and had one of the best attacks in the league and would use this to win games instead of defending. Mourinho has as well cost his team valueble points by setting up shop too early and has done this against team lower down in the league

ndombele, lo celso, hojbjerg, Harry winks you lot have 4 midfielders who are amazing in possession. How many more do you need to retain possession?

@@TT-iv5iz if you watch football you'd know lo celso is injured and winks is championship level. I said spurs lack players in that team who can press effectively back for the ball when they lose it. When that happens they naturally drop because they dont have the legs to press anymore

@@specialperson335 I don't think he changed Shaw, he just realised playing Young at LB isn't better and he didn't get Sandro from Juve who he wanted. So he gave in to playing Shaw. Shaw has been playing his best football under Ole. We also saw what happened to Pogba after Mourinho left. He got into the premier league team of the season in 2019. Last season he spent most of it injured, this season after a slow start, due to injuries and Covid. Has been back to his best, he won our player of the month in January. I'm a big fan of Martial, he won our player of the year last year. But this year has been terrible, he 25 now and I'm starting to think maybe he does have an attitude problem or something. I hope I'm wrong!

It's like you learnt nothing from 5-4 Everton. Apparently to you, a lad who spent 6 years being taught under Bobby Robson and cruyff on the tiki taka attacking traditions doesnt have a clue on "attacking football"....

We don't have a good squad in defense. We didn't under Poch his last year and we don't still. We can't defend. We played attacking football against Everton and then kept conceding due to defensive liabilities. It has happened every game. Mourinho tried changing things up, and the defensive liabilities keep cropping up every game. I feel so sorry for our attacking players + Hojbjerg + Aurier (who is the least defense liability in my opinion, though still accident prone). They deserve better.

@@nwandoe3599 Toby, Regulion, Tanganga are the only good defenders while Aurier has his moments. Hoebjerg is nice for cdm, ndombele is good tho he needs more creativity, lo celso when not injured for midfield. Gotta start Bale often on RW. Get gazaniga to gk. get new cb, maybe new lb and rb too as backups idk, 1 creative midfield and we good.
