There’s nobody else I’d rather hear explain this time. I know several astrologers have been reaching for their Cosmos and Psyche books for answers and enlightenment. Listening to Rick brings me great comfort and I didn’t want him to stop.

I'm not an astrologer, but this sounds spot on with my analysis. Some people think I'm whacked, but I believe what might look like the Fall of Man is really the Spring of Humanity. We've all been led to believe this is Life... it's NOT. What it looks like on this side is likely going to be ugly, what it looks like on the other side is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen and it's the world we're going to :)

Astrology is an Archetypal language if you don't have a good understanding of archetypes you will be lost to what Richard is speaking about, Thank you for your great insights into our shared cosmology.

Seven years ago, I came out of an extended death-rebirth experience and consulted an astrologer who told me that I had just gone through this exact planetary configuration in my personal chart - a very long saturn-pluto-uranus something or other (i'm not an astrologer and don't remember the exact term). But I do remember her saying, what you have just gone through in your personal life the entire planet will go through a few years from now. I recognize these patterns from hard, but ultimately redeeming personal experience. it was a very difficult, long and arduous journey, but I have to say it was worth it and - ironically, it seems that the coronovirus crisis has brought out of me the gold was that created from this crucible. I hope that the planet ultimately survives and can look back at this time and say, that was a bitch but we needed it and are grateful for that experience.

IMHO, practicing the generation of Bodhicitta is more important for us now than ever. We have a great opportunity to move beyond our dualistic neuroses and the extremes of hope and fear through self-examination and remembrance that there is no separation between "self" and "other." Understanding that it is through "others" that we ultimately will reach Enlightenment.

I absolutely adore the lectures. In times of trouble and upheaval we need to be reminded that we are a small part of the big picture that continues to unfold if we can maintain our center of balance in the chaos and turmoil balance will eventually be restored. Although I consider myself an environmentalist and am not right or left leaning I do tend to disagree with Professor Tarnas's position on Greta Thunberg and to an extent on Trump. But that is the beauty of being able to hold differing points of view but coming together on what's important. Wow. I had no idea who this guy was but he sure knows what he's talking about!

Mr Tarnas, Can it be that by concentrating only on the outer planets that you missed the interactions from the Venus-Starpoint cycle from 1255 years with the Pluto-Saturn cycle? Every 251 years each degree of the zodiac is visited by the same Venus retrograde conjunction (or the other superior conjunction). And especially the upcoming Gemini 13th degree conjunction in june is following the pluto-saturn conjunctions and oppositions in Capricorn the last 500 years. It takes 251 years for the 13th Gemini to be hit again by the next Venus-Starpoint. So 2 times ago it was in 1518 on may 25 that there was the 13th Gemini after the Pluto-Saturn conjunction from january 3 1518, north node also in Gemini. Its the same sequence as this year. January 12th the pluto-saturn conjunction in Capricorn followed by the gemini 13 venus starpoint with north node as well in gemini. The time in between in 1769- june 3 the Venus starpoint gemini 13th followed the pluto-saturn opposition in capricorn-cancer, south node in Gemini. As you know there was no conjunction in capricorn , they just missed eachother. But they still had lots of Venus Starpoints in other degrees every 8 years ( Venus starpoints stay for about 100 years in one sign). That those 13th gemini degrees follow the pluto-saturn conjunctions seems logical, new perceptions, 4 months long after the pluto-saturn deconstruction. By the way, the next venus retrograde after gemini ones after 18 months is always in capricorn. Might be interesting to look into that. The 251 year i learned from Arielle Guttman , a life long student of Venus, also videos here on youtube, but to me the main fact, which for some reason she missed, is that to me the pluto-saturn conjunctions in Capricorn are the most important ones, endings and beginnings of complete eras. So, the gemini 13 Venus Starpoint on june 3 is to me a vital part of the big astrology this year. Wondering if i ever get a reply on this one. All the best and good luck to all withe the big transitions which i think will be allright. The increasing use of the internet because of the virus is leading to much more contact and collaboration worldwide. And positive intentions are full of enthousiasme and the will to cooperate while negative intentions can only use the internet as a megaphone but by their selfish and fearful nature they are very bad at cooperating. So the coming decade is automatically for the collaboraters, we are with lots more and enthousiasme and creativity will be on our side.

Mr. Tarnas a couple days ago I was asking myself ,what really is my purpose here. I was serious, last night I had this dream of this man flying through the air and what really help me to remember what he looked like was his silver gray hair and his countenance a a side profile it was straight and clear, like the eagle and its beak, like the eagles you see on stamps etc. may not be a good description of you side profile, but that's the best I could do. (After sitting 5 or 10 minutes , while listening to you I SAID HE LOOKS FAMILIAR, AND THE DREAM CAME TO ME) I'd been on KZfaq looking through channels to find something interesting and meaningful, I saw the title of this discussion. I clicked on, I think this definitely helped to my answer my question. Thank you , Mr. Tarnas.

Rick Tarnas hit me in the eye w/a snowball at boy-scout camp in 8th grade! I threw him a touchdown pass at a different boy scout camp! He was the smartest student in our Catholic grade school (Gesu in Detroit across from Jesuit University of Detroit). We both grew out of Catholicism. He is explaining, the confused dynamics. Too much talk and little explanation, of the real dynamics, of how it works in real time. There are several factors, in space and time, that has an impact on the study astrological research, that is alien, to astrologers.
