Building my version of this coop and just the materials will be over $300. Building an extended chicken run will put the project in the $450+ range.

Do you like the automatic coop door do you have a video about it? I want to get one but I do not want to risk my chickens getting crushed. Thank you for the tour I love your videos! I just found your video about the Automatic door. Are you still happy with it?

Lol! Yes we love it! With my pain syndrome (which I also have a video about but it’s long and boring) mornings are super hard on me. So I love the door because then my girls don’t suffer waiting on me. I want to say that this one doesn’t have an adjustable speed BUT on my video review you can see it’s suuuuuper slow. Maybe even install it but leave another door open for the first few days. I use batteries on mine so the only thing is when will they run out? Other than that we have had no issues and I am so very grateful. (I do also go out late at night to do roll call and do medical checks in my girls.)

real simple mama Thank you for your feedback. We have got to get one. I’m sorry that you have pain syndrome. 😢 I will have to search for your video on the medical checks that you do because I don’t know anything about that. I really appreciate your information I think I would be completely lost without you. Have a great day and God bless you!

I so wish this coop was available...I can't find it anywhere in the northeast.

I’m so sorry! Have you tried looking in unusual places like Facebook Marketplace and antique stores?
