10:35, I think that's the best looking Facehugger I've seen. It actually looks realistic and especially the fungus effect inside the fluid. You legitimately got yourself a real specimen there! 😄👍

Ooooh man. I love your alien collection! I had like 10 of those Alien Resurrection Chestburster toys as a kid. The tail kept breaking. :( Triviaaaaa: The Facehugger (and Xenomorph, Space Jockey, and Derelict ship) was designed by H.R. Giger, while Roger Dicken and Ron Cobb built the Facehugger props based on Giger's designs. Giger loved painting things that straddled the line between sex and the macabre, and organic and machine. Originally, the tube that came out of the "female-looking side" to impregnate the victim with a Chestburster was meant to look extremely phallic, and the flaps on the sides would resemble testicles. Also, note how the Xenomorph itself contains many dichotomies: it looks very skeletal and almost rotting, but is still alive // it has mechanical parts like hoses and metal teeth, but it's very much organic // it has a extremely phallic head, tail, and mouth, but its lips, hands, and form are all very feminine (almost like BDSM gear). My favorite sci-fi creature design, nothing comes close!

I’m more of Predator guy, but I have all the Alien movies, a few of the books, a bunch of the comics, and two of those Kenner figures (Queen and Bull). So, I guess that makes it close. Love that stuff.

I no longer have an Alien/Aliens collection. However, I do kinda want to start a Bill Paxton collection. Not kidding.

About 7-8 tears ago I was able to purchase the remains of an old toy/ video store+ arcade with tons of cool stuff dating back to the 1970s. There were cases of Aliens & Predator toys which I sold off after moving & having employment issues. There were boxes of case fresh toys & it was cool to see both adults & kids so interested in a toy line from the 1990s. I was further thrilled when NECA came out w/ the updates of the Predator vehicle as I had a few of them. I kept an Aliens cargo loader as I always linked that to GI Joe. Thanks for a great video Laura! Keep up the excellent work!

Nice. I love the Alien films. I do have the Kenner marines & the vehicles opened, but I would like to get them unopened for collectors purposes. I also have the Kenner Queen Alien Hive set. Over the years I've focused on NECA's line, the human characters. I have Ripley, Newt, Bishop, Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez, Frost, Drake & Burke. I have two of each, one to open (to photograph), & one to keep packaged. I have the first Ripley release (from Aliens), but I also have the Ripley with the bomber jacket, & the Ripley/Newt two pack. I do have the Newt SDCC release as well. I also have the torn in half Bishop. I only have one of the latter, & only have one of the bomber jacket Ripley. These are unopened. Also have the bloody Xenomorph NECA put out along with Parker & Brett. I just remembered I do have the lab set NECA put out with facehuggers, chestbursters & cryotubes too. I do have some aliens, but I like the characters more. I have NECA's Queen alien (one opened, & one boxed), NECA's powerloader, some facehugger eggs (a glow in the dark set too), the Alien Resurrection Newborn, & Amanda Ripley. When the series was first released in blu ray there was a limited edition set which came in a large-ish alien egg with a alien climbing on it. I also have two collectors editions of Aliens Colonial Marines on PS3 (I liked the game actually), that AvP Hunter Edition on PS3 too. My most valuable collectors item would probably the working Motion Tracker replica, which has the sound effects like in the film. Very cool.

Hey Laura, I'm glad to know there are a lot of ALIENS enthusiasts. Thank you for sharing your collection. I myself also have quiet an extensive alien collection, I do custom painting on my figured and I've also gotten some dioramas. I made a video of it. They do have a life size alien egg that has a replica face hugger within. I used to own all four Aliens as a kid, unfortunately they were lost. I did own a flying Alien Queen and a space marine that was disguised as an alien. The mini comics were a blast to read.

i acquired that Queen alien sometime in my teenage or early 20s. I think from a liquidation. Still have it today, and always thought it was one of the coolest toys ever. All the toys in that line had super unique innovative features to it.

The 22" 2008 Big Chap fig is tops! I'd settle for the Alien 40th Anniversary 7" NECA. The NECA Rhino Alien in red is another nice one to own, too.

I have a Kenner Panther Alien. It was a cousin's gift to me back in the day. He's got a metallic brown topside and a white underside and shoots a little alien thingie when you push down his head! He's my only alien toy though i remembered wanting to buy the gorilla alien as a kid.

I love the guy who modded his c-pap mask into a facehugger.

I've got 2 shelves full of Aliens and Predators Colonial Space Marines. 90s Kenner, random other, some custom marines, and Lanard.

If you wanna make face huggers...do figure size... you can use spice bottles since the look like clone vats instead of water use blue dish soap and you could do a light source like a mini flashlight and whoala! Plus the blue dish soap will keep the fungus away.

I bought the 2008 Neca figure back in those days, until today (well actually the last video where you presented) I figured out it was a “recreation” of the 70’s figure, that’s so cool

AH the giant Facehugger! I had one years ago but everyone hated it so much eventually I sold it. BTW I called mine Marjorie and decided it was a him, for ultimate confusion. Hobbies included cuddling and hanging from things via his tail.

I just got done completing the whole Aliens Comic Book Collection that was re-released by Marvel. I have all four of The Aliens Original Years Omnibus Collection Volumes by marvel. They are best way to get the Aliens Comic Books since Dark Horse doesn't make the Aliens Comics anymore.

I had pretty much the entire Kenner line from the early 1990s, best times of my life. Sadly most of them were chewed up by the dogs or lost to time, but I still have a couple left. Had the Boar, Bull, Rhino, Queen, Flying Queen, Mantis, Gorilla, Panther, Jaguar, Snake, Scorpion, Soldier. I also had many of the Predators too. Funnily enough I had moved from my home state recently and found a small little town and a small shop that sells sci-fi stuff and they have some of the Alien/Predator kenner figures up there, which is crazy to me, but I might buy them all up again soon.

Good showcase! I'm really jealous of those kenner figures! I would not be able to keep them sealed in the packaging, I'd have to pop them open and play with them a bit. I've only got 3 Xenomorph figures. The NECA Mantis Alien, the Kenner Bull Alien, and a figure of The Raven from the Aliens: Colonial Marines game (don't remember who made it). Funny thing about the Mantis Alien, I really wanted just a normal Alien, but the only one the had in the store was the mantis one, and I was all like "Oh fine, I guess this will do." And I bought it without really wanting it, but after getting home and opening it I loved it immediately.

I used to have all the Alien vs predator figures and space marines, sadly my mom threw them out.

I have a lot of alien figures mostly neca some imports from japan. I also have that picacu alien in yellow it's cool also kubrick alien in small scale as well as the 5005% larger figure.

I can't bring myself to collect everything that is out there and have walls of multiple franchises, which is why all my money is on Predator.
