This past week had been a wreck for me. Midterms killed me and my sleeping hours, my country is in a mess, and guess what, the anxiety about my future is eating me alive. After reading Shine, I started to think about everything, about my life mostly. Like, there is no certainty that what I'm fighting for would actually work out. I've been thinking whether or not I've been putting too much effort in what I do, because I feel so pressured by it. Once in a while I would abandon my study schedule and just have fun, and I felt like this is how things should be. I should feel relaxed and happy not pressured. But I know that my future must be fought for. in the midst of whatever happened this week, my mind landed on you. Through all the thick and thins of being "me" these past few months, you have been my greatest source of strength. When I feel like giving up, when I feel tired of pouring so much effort into studying, I look at the back of my phone (there's a picture of you there) and gained my strength back. Shine gave me so much motivation to keep going Jess, I hope you know that. I may not be worthy to compare myself to Rachel Kim who is a reflection of you, but I feel like I can relate to her (minus the mean mina and the romance ofc) You have been a major inspiration in my life, in a lot of people's lives. I hope one day I'll be able to tell you that I made it
