Even though i will probably never own a Celine bag, i love these kind of videos, and i don't understand why the hate? She's a grown woman who works hard, if she wants to buy herself an expensive bag, why can't she? She does her research and thinks about it a lot before doing it, let her live! Keep up the wonderful work, Lily, i've been following you for years and i love your videos :)

I think it's a great idea to review a bag once you've had it a while and a concept I've not seen any other you tubers do. Very useful to find out how an investment piece will wear over a period of time.

KZfaqr world is so different to my real life world. I don't know anyone in my world who can afford these luxury handbags yet on KZfaq it feels the complete opposite. It's not hate in anyway, it's just an observation that it's harder for me to relate to KZfaqrs, because there's just more luxe-centred content than there used to be.

@deelot1 this is why I stopped watching Lydia E. Millen's videos. She seems like a genuinely nice and fun person, but seeing the amount of luxury products and designer items she buys makes me just impossible to relate to her... I have a Master's degree and a good job, but still this kind of lifestyle I will never be able to afford. :/

I am not even close to looking into buying a luxury bag, I'm just trying to get through uni with no debt right now, but I still love watching these videos because it always intrigues me to see luxury bags compared to my 20-40 dollar ones that last me 5+ years :)

I was reading the comments. And honestly, why bother talking about normality? Everyone thinks themselves is the "normal" person but the truth is this very concept depending highly who you are around and your income level. There are a lot of people who buy luxury bags while a lot of people couldn't. Some people see spending as pleasure but some feel guilty about it. I think the review itself is good and informative. Whether you are able to relate to the bag is your problem.

Hi Lily, one small advice for the back side of this sweet Celine bag: take a kitchen towel (white), or white napkin (some that has better quality) and put some milk on it, then lightly clean the surface :) I ve recently saved my so much loved bag with that trick :) Kisses from Split, Croatia :)

KZfaq is like the best/worst place ever. I get so much information and learn so many things but my bank account suffers!!! A Celine bag is going to be my next BIG purchase and I have been trying to get all the information I can on them, Lily. You read my mind!! Love your videos lately :-)

I'm really surprised by all the negative comments! I loved this video, even if I can't afford the bag, I find it more interesting to watch aspirational videos anyway! Ignore the hate lily, I think your videos have actually got more interesting recently, you can see that you are really just focusing on videos you want to film as opposed to pandering to KZfaq "trends" and it makes your content 100% more authentic. I also love that you rarely film 3-4 minute videos. You put so much effort in and you don't deserve those comments from jealous people!

Since there are so many comments about how the bag is unaffordable, how about reviewing a knock off, or a similar good option purse for lot less? I'd totally be interested to see a review of a knock off or a similar style purse of this Celine purse, especially because you have the real thing to compare it to. You can wear it out couple days and really try out etc? Just a thought! Kind of like you bought the Zara jacket vs. the Riess, you can compare?!

The hook is for sun glasses apparently. I wish I could afford a Celine bag. I went for a Mulberry Freya satchel because of the price and it's so disappointing because the corners of the leather already start wearing off! Lesson learnt not doing enough research before splashing out my hard earn cash! Xxx

I agree with a lot of the comments about luxury handbags. It seems that as youtubers have become more successful their lifestyle has changed which is reflected in the content. Not that there is anything wrong with that - if you can afford a celine handbag go for it. It's just that what was originally appealing about youtubers like lily was that she was relatable, she could be your friend and could give genuine recommendations that you could go out. This is completely out of reach for most people and therefore a pointless review for a lot of viewers. That being said I still enjoy watching these videos 😂 but I don't think it's good for people, it's creating a false sense of reality and makes people want what they can't afford!!

I know this is a bit random but I have asked a couple of times on snapchat, are you still doing your project life?! Nano luggages are cute but pretty old news. Why are you reviewing this if you've pretty much done it before. Review a bag that's gaining popularity and people are looking to buy, not one that's long gone. Please think of new fresh content. Your lack of enthusiasm and ideas is really getting boring. And yes I know I clicked on this video and I know I don't need to watch it if I don't like it but I've been a subscriber for a very long time and think it's important to voice your opinion!

I-Chien Tang completely agree :( I know she was preoccupied with her wedding, I completely get that. But now I don't think there's an excuse to be so (dare I say) lazy about her job. When you work in a creative industry you need to keep up with the times and keep your audience hooked. She's failing to do that, but it's not too late. There's still time, but she needs to realise it before it's too late and people lose interest.

Totally understand what you're saying, maybe i would say it in a different way but hey ho everyone is different. I think the problem doesn't lie with Lily but instead her viewers. Now days viewers expect so much more creativity and originality but to be honest i think thats harder to do now than it would have been 4 years ago.Lily even said things in this video such as " i dont want to be repeating myself" and "if this isnt for you then there will be a video on sunday" I also think its unfair for some people to say in this thread that lily is becoming lazy because im sure thats far from the truth. How would you even come to that conclusion. I feel like people are forgetting that Lily had a stage in her life when she thought her youtube career had been through its high. That must be horrible to constantly think that your job is on its last legs due to not having originality. I do not want to be the person who says " dont watch if you dont like" but i think thats what youtube has come to now because, really, there are so many youtubers out there that will fit the needs that others cant.

Katie Ford I understand you completely. But I feel like it's one reason to another every week. She's aware that her content isn't where it should be. In past videos maybe a year ago or so I can see she tried harder. It's always excuses like "I was planning my wedding but now it's done I'm going to be putting up exciting new content" ermmm where is it? She was honestly one of my favourite you tubers but now you can see in her tone and the way she addresses the camera that she is truly bored of what she's doing and not even she can convince herself that what she's saying is interesting. Don't blame her viewers, she's not keeping up with the way things are heading.

I really like this video & the way the review is after a while of owning it. I know there are a lot of comments saying about how expensive the bag is etc but I'm similar age to Lily & I definitely buy more expensive bags that are better quality & last longer than Primark ones. If it's a trend piece I won't spend much on it but my day to day work bag would be designer as I find they last so much longer. Don't get me wrong, I love Primark for some things but I want bags to last. Anyway Lily I really liked this, even though it's not a bag I'd be looking at.
