Devika Nambiar is an Indian actress, television presenter and classical dancer who appears in Malayalam language. Actress Devika Nambiar started her TV career with the show, 'Balamani'. Through the show, the actress won laurels for her realistic acting. Her character Krishnaveni in 'Parinayam' was also loved by the telly audience. Vijay Madhav is also a familiar face for the Malayalam telly audience. The musician was one of the popular contestants of the music reality show, 'Star Singer'. Also, Vijay recently played a cameo in Devika's show, 'Rakkuyil'. Talking about her role, Devika says, “I am happy that the movie is getting a good response. But the movie is not getting enough theatres for screening. It is a story of two friends who dream of making a film and thereby save an old theatre from going into oblivion.”
The pretty actress who struck a chord with the family audience through her television roles is learning to balance her three entirely different responsibilities - serials, films and academics. Devika, is doing her diploma in Counselling Psychology.
