I love this!! I will be getting some film equipment because I'm writing my own personl essay to turn into a short film/visual diary! Since I'm moving this summer, I'm basically going to be writing a "love letter" to my Childhood Home and that's going to be the short film. I'm really excited for it and I was definitely inspired by you to do it. I've always had a passion for photography and film! 💌

Genuinely asking, why would anyone (apart from a professional) needs cameras in today’s age? I mean I know u love photography and making films, but phone cameras can take high quality photos and videos right? And with the right filters u can get that vintage look

There are many reasons but I believe it's because of a desire for more creative control. Cameras will always surpass the smartphone in terms of quality (yes, cameras have much better quality), control, zoom, specialized features, etc. I also think a huge attraction to using a camera rather than a smartphone is the learning experience and skill development.

Filters can give you the 'look' but it's never 1:1 as the original. If you want low quality, fuzzy, warm looking photos, you're better off taking them with a high ISO or with a shitty 00's point-and-shoot camera!

yeah i understand you but I think cameras just have that "vibe" about them, that which our phone cameras and filters cannot replicate.

better quality photos, maybe she wants the photos to look cozy, have a vintage look (that no, filters on smartphones cannot replicate) or just for fun/ collecting purposes. not everything has to have a serious reason behind it.

It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on the craftsmen and quality inspection. My family and I have purchased D U P B A G Y bags over the past three years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
