I started with a canon t3i as well and now have a canon 5D Mark ii and still does me well so I agree with the just upgrade lenses . 🔥☺️ good content !

Im a London fashion & beauty photographer as well. There’s a real calmness to all your videos. I love how you present. I use Canon too. Was about to upgrade my 5DSR to the R5. Interested to know if you’ve also upgraded since this video. I use the cheaper Godox lights though. Glad I found your channel.

My favourite portrait lens is the Sigma 50 art. I do agree with your comments about it. The 70-200 is just too heavy to carry around unless you have a specific need.

*Ref 50mm:* I strongly agree, my friend. It was one of my first lenses when shooting with my *Nikon d3200* , and as time went on and I began shooting with other lenses, I find myself somewhat avoiding the *50mm* .

I have the same sigma lens and I thought it was just me!!!! Saving to take the plunge on the 24-70mm thank you for this.

Agree with your statement abput the sigma...most people i know love the sigma art line but the 35mm I use sometimes missed autofocus dramatically and it takes focussing on another object far away to "find itself" again. It's very sharp but I neither like the color and contrast nor the CA. Canon glas produced far superior images even though they're "softer" than the sigma. Nice Video !

It is a nice bag I had a red one but it is not verry handy for getting into busy streets but easy for your gear getting nicked. That is why I got an protactic aw350 II.

The 50mm 1.4 canon lens is good a good 50 for the price. Focusing is pretty reliable and it stays sharp at 1.8+

I get why you don't like the Sigma lens. Personally I don't like to fiddle with the settings as well. However I did notice some of my Nikkor lenses were just a tiny bit back or front focusing, so had to fiddle with those as well. I own the Sigma 24mm F1.4 for environmental portraits and the Sigma 85mm F1. 4 and after tweaking the settings all the images are spot on. I still need to get a 70-200 f2.8. Love the idea to bring a mini reflector screen. Big enough for close headshots etc. Getting one as well and smart to throw in some pain killers. Another great video 👍

Might be worth adding some clothes pegs to your kit as they can be used to solve wardrobe issues and are much smaller, I also have a sewing kit, hair clips and safety pins in the lighting kit. They have solved many problems on set before.

I’m thinking about a canon 5d mark 4 because it would be good for booking shoots, but I also love shooting him but film is not cheap.

Consider carrying a deo and mint mouth sprays. Just spraying it on yourself at times when others smell. U could politely ask them to try the flavour.

Neewer vision5 I have two of them and they are battery powered. Absolutely wonderful strobes with hss and comes with transmitter.

Try to buy the Canon EF 85mm f1.4L IS USM you will not be disappointed. Its a great portrait lens and worth trading the Sigma.

Quick work of advice if I may Ian. Be careful giving people medical supplies on a job, if they react badly to them you could be in a world of trouble legally. It's daft but that's todays litigation world unfortunately. Also Re the Sigma 50mm it may need Micro AF Adjustment which is a pain in the ass to do on Sigma. It is normal to have to adjust lenses on DSLR bodies. Take a look at Focal lens calibration software. www.reikanfocal.com/ I found out about it after shooting a portrait of a friend of the developer, it's great. I have run all my lenses through calibration and do so every 2 years. Well worth it.
