Ive had 3 csections & the best advice I can give you is to get up and walk asap. The gas pains are no joke * that will help. Also lots of times they will put you in an abdominal binder which is very helpful for holding everthing in & when you cough. Prayers! You ve got this & looks like you are ready!

Prayers continue! You had asked advice on one of your other video’s. I had three C/S’s years ago. Be sure to stay the 4 days in the hospital. As much as you love all your children, you need this time to recover. Having the hospital bed that helps to raise your head helps in the beginning and you won’t have that at home. You will do great!

I've had 5 c sections and always wear pants leaving the hospital and after. As long as they're loose and have some room where you can adjust the waistband higher or lower as needed, they've always been comfortable.

You will definitely have the same heavy bleeding with a C-section! I really didn’t think my C-sections were too bad. But, the bleeding was. I will be praying for a miracle that your placenta moves up. But, if that doesn’t happen,I will pray for comfort, and an easy recovery!!🥰🙏🏼💜👶🏻🍼what adorable baby outfits!! Shasta the clothes for baby boy are precious! You got this you will do fine, Hurry up I am so excited to meet baby boy and know his name instead of baby boy. God bless you and your family and give yourself grace remember you just had major surgery so rest , eat plenty of good food to help your recovery you will do great!

If you do need the c-section the night gown is a great choice. You won't want a band around or close to your incision. Unless its pretty loose. Great to give yourself the option just in case. the gown was great in hospital but then I went back to loose comfy pjs. I had 3 c-sections. There is still bleeding. None of mine were bad but make sure when they want you up to move, do it. It will hurt some but you can have complications if you don't get moving. Had two c-sections and wore loose sweats home from both. Walking is the way to healing with less pain.

I've had 3 C-sections. Definitely more pain and longer recovery, but less bleeding. For my last 2 C-sections I was able to use tampons since my cervix was closed. Ask your Dr. They generally suck out most of the blood/fluids... not much blood left to come out! Hoping you don't need a C-section but if you do, don't be afraid. It will be ok! 💗💗

I had a c section and it was not the horrible experience people warn you about, actually orcas great! Our baby was delivered safely, I could move around the same day (though slowly) and felt well. You are going to be fine. BTW: lose yoga pants were fine,too

You will still definitely need the hospital big pads with a c section. I just wore my maternity clothes home. I had scheduled c sections twice so I just wore home what I wore there because I didn’t have it on long. I woke up and showered and threw it on so I wore it home. Maternity pants were most comfortable with the incision. 😊

Pack some gum and chew it within a couple of hours after C-section, idk how but it made a huge difference with my second C-section. It helps moves the air around or something.

Track pants are fine after a c section I found them very comfy for the 3 c sections I had

comfy pants and underpants that don't sit where incision is …. like higher waisted sweatpants or leggings are good to have on hand the first few weeks after c-section and at hospital.

Praying for you. I had my c-sections years and years ago and was only in the hospital 3 days. I also learned after my first c-section that even though it is painful you need to get up and move around once they let you. Really helped me get rid of the pain. But that was my experience. My OB-GYN had a license plate that said GENTLY. I hurt slightly for about 3 hours. That's it. Prayers for a gentle C-section 🙏

My advice is leave the bag completely packed with everything for expecting a c-section even if the placenta has moved. The reason I am suggesting this is because a couple of years ago a young woman from our church had the same situation with her placenta as you and they told her that it had moved. However, when she went in to the hospital to have the baby things changed and she had an emergency c-section. Turned out the placenta had moved back and completely covered . She had taken out some things out of her bag when they told her the placenta had moved and she wished later that she had left them in. She did not have her pillow either and forgot to have her husband bring it to her so the ride home was very painful and miserable. When in doubt pack it and be glad you have it whatever you are in doubts about.

Any comfy clothes work for a c section. Just loose, if it's tight in area of the incision, it makes ya a grumpy lady lol. Where the real aggravating part starts is going home and ya can't do anything more then lift the baby! You have helpers tho, I think you'll breeze through! My eldest was 2 and she took the diapers n the trash but when ya want to do laundry DONT lift the basket no no lol OUCHIE lol you got this!!!

I also used my peri bottle with my C-section. Wiping can be hard to do the first few days and I bled so so much and that helps clean you up too.

I am praying you don’t have to have a c-section, but if that is Gods will then I pray for quick healing. I had 2 and you can wear big stretchy pants after and get big panties that don’t ride on the area. Plus just lots of rest. ❤😊

My first son I had an emergency c- section and I did well but now they do the bikini cut which I had with my second child because she was a very large baby 10lbs and actually even though I have never experinced a vaginal delivery the c-section with my second child the recovery was very easy they even left the epidural was left in for awhile and was a great help with the initial pain after the surgery and also the after birth pains. Shasta just remember if you and Josh have another one after baby boy you can have have a vaginal delivery after a c-section. Either way baby boy comes into the world healthy is all you want. I am so excited to meet baby boy and I have not figured our his name . Shasta the nurses are so great during you c-section and you will have a doctor perform it from your ob gyn that you already know. It is great that you have larger pajama's as you are very sore in your belly and maybe some I know many people do not like this but get you some as we call granny panties instead of bikini ones if that is what you wear because with the bikini cut will be very sore so that will help. Shasta you will do great and I was so exicted through your whole pregnancy you have looked so beautiful you cannot even tell you are pregnant until you see your belly and I thnk he is going to be a big boy. It will be hard getting up and down while holding him because you have just had a major surgery so give your self some grace and take the time to heal, God bless you and wishin a speedy recovery. Sashta, I didn't have a c-section but read the overwhelming suggestion in the comments a few videos back that you should scrap the idea of pants. other moms suggested you'll only be able to tolerate dresses if you have to have the C-section. love love love baby boy's clothes. well organized that's you Sashta. lots of ideas for new moms!

Had a vaginal birth, then csection. C section wasn't too bad. Then ten yrs later had a hysterectomy, which is also like a csection. Just very depressing. Dont push yourself. Concentrate on recovery and new baby. Congratulations!

I truly don't think that you are going to be able to wear pants of any kind... Pajama or Sweats even so please do yourself a favor and pack a dress to wear home too. It won't be long that you will be able to transition back to pants but not at first sweet heart. I'm praying that things change and you won't need a C-section at all.
