i bought a pink classic one for school, and won a sky blue mini from a giveaway! the mini will be my everyday bag, and my uncle went to vietnam and got me a fake classic kanken for $10. do you have any ideas what i should do with the fake? i’ve been wanting a kanken for so long and now i’m gonna have 3! 😅🤩

I was just thinking about you yesterday when i was looking over my comments! That is so awesome! I am so happy you got the pink one and won a small one...WOW!!! Since you are using the other two for school and as a purse, you should keep the fake one around for sleepovers, picnics (beach outings), sports, etc. My daughter uses hers when ever she goes out for the day. She just used it to carry stuff to the beach yesterday and it got so much sand on it, that's why she doesn't use it for school anymore. It's just her everything bag. Congrats again!!!!

My mini is in Ocean Green...don't be fooled by the color on their website thought. I feel like the colors are much different in person. Thanks for watching!

For washing, I suggest putting a little amount of water in a cup, and using a very light and diluted soap like dish soap or baby shampoo. Then mix until you see bubbles. Then, use the soft side of a sponge to apply, and use a light bush (like a toothbrush) to scrub it in. Then pat with paper towel after it is scrubbed. And let air dry. Please try not to keep it in strong light or else the color on the fabric will fade. Hope this helps :)

how many ounces is your water bottle? i'd like to get a kanken that holds my 24oz hydroflask because water is really important, but i don't want to buy a bigger kanken than i need just to hold the bottle 😂 i love how descriptive and explained this video is!! ❤️

thanks for watching! The small Kanken is extremely spacious too. my camera would probably fit better in it with a different insert. I do use it to hold one of my smaller cameras, just without the camera bag insert.

I hope you love it! I still use mine all the time :-) And for the headphones, I basically wrapped my headphone up, tucked them into a folded piece of leather and then wrapped a string around it. Hope that helps!

I was wondering what bottle you put into the ochre classic Kanken? What brand and what size? My favorite Klean Kanteen bottle doesn't fit in my new Kanken bag...

Hi Caroline! I purchased this bottle through my daughters cheer team, so I'm not sure what brand it is. I do know it holds 12oz and the widest part is 8.75 in (22.225 cm or 222.25mm) I have also purchased bottles from stores like Target and Typo that will fit into the side pocket. chilly bottles fit; and the 500 ml KK reflect fits mine :) the 750ml does fit once the pockets are broken in!

Have you found how to clean your ochre bag? I have the same color and IDK what to do when it starts getting stained!

Tori Hiroko You can clean it with a little soap and water! But make sure you don’t put too much and use like a toothbrush to brush it.

Depends on how skinny the Hydro flask is, but I know they tend to run a little wider. And if you have a lot of stuff in the bag, the pocket becomes even more constrained. Hope that helps!

I don't have a composition book on hand, but here are the measurements according to the websites. Mini Kanken - Length: 7.87" - Width: 5.12" - Height: 11.42" Composition Book - Height: 9.75" - Width: 7.5" I hope this helps!

Does the classic Kånken fit a 2inch binder?

Yes, a two inch binder will fit. I have a Staples brand binder, and they tend to be wider than most other brands, so it fits a little snug, but there is still room for other stuff too!

can a 32oz hydro fit in the side pockets of a classic?

I think it depends more on the diameter of the bottle. But also keep in mind that a bottle may fit when the bag isn't full, but if you stuff it the side pockets get tighter. From what I see of pictures of the 32 oz hydro online, I think the pockets may be too small. The bottles I have are tall and skinny. Hope this helps!

I don't have a regular size ipad to test this with, but my A5 planner (7.5 in x 9.25 in) fits in it perfectly. I believe they are about the same size...from what I can find on the internet. Hope this helps!

I think the backpacks are just designed in Sweden. Certainly, they're produced in Asia.

I used to use a bottle that was similar in size to a 16oz bottle of water. I use a hydroflask now, but it doesn't fit. I just put it in the bag when I need to.

I believe my Hydro is the 21 oz. and it is the skinny one, but it doesn't fit.

No, that’s the size of my new hydro, and it no longer fits. I just throw it in my bag when I need my hands free, but I love that my Hydro has a loop on the lid to slide my finger in.

I just got a Kanken and I use it as a backpack. Based on your thumbnail, your classic kanken is not as boxy as mine. any idea why or how I can fix that?

That's probably because you have books or binders in yours. My daughter used hers for school and it looked boxy as well. Mine just has some things at the bottom of the bag, so the top just kinda collapses in. I also took out the little foam pad that comes in it, that might help if you haven't done that! Good luck!

Taking out the foam doesn’t help. It makes it worse. It is supposed to help your back. Also, it keeps the boxy shape. Maybe try putting the foam back in. I know I’m a little late hahaha

They get less boxy and stiff looking with use. I think hers is just worn in and not so stiff and straight which could make it look boxy. My mini has gotten much better and less stiff since I first got it. I think it just takes time.

Are the straps uncomfortable?

When I have the bag stuffed with heavy items and I'm carrying it all day, it can irritate my shoulders a bit. My daughter uses hers for her school binders and says its completely comfortable. The straps are pretty thin, so if that might bother you, you can always buy the attachable pads to use with them. Hope that helps!
