I am also a doula...about essential oils...make sure a mom in labor smells the oils in the bottle during labor before using them! I’ve had moms bring oils they intended on using and then in the heat of labor the scent made them nauseated! Ladies...you never know what you’ll want/need in labor!

Really enjoying your videos, the one thing i know about essential oils is that peppermint is not good for nursing so i don’t use it from the third trimester until I am ready to wean my Baby. Peppermint is GREAT for stopping the milk flow when ready to be done. Ginger is still GREAT for nausea. Clove, frankincense, Black pepper, a drop or two of birch or wintergreen all for pain and to keep contractions going myrrh and clary sage. Thank you for all the great ideas! It is much appreciated! 🥰

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and just discovered your videos yesterday. GIRL. You have already eased so many fears that I had because you explain things so well. I have been binge watching since yesterday. I wasn’t even 1/3 of the way into the first one I seen and you best believe I slammed that subscribe button. Thank you for everything you do! I'm due with my second in 6 1/2-ish weeks, but my first was a scheduled csection and I didn't labour - so I feel like a first time, lol! Anyway, we don't have a doula but I updated my hospital bag with so much stuff after this video! I didn't even think to bring my salt lamp, what a great idea. Thank you!!!

That salt lamp reminds me of of my children's moon ball night light. It has a yellow, blue and white setting. It sits on a nice pedestal and its chargeable. It's very light. It may work in addition to, or as an alternative salt lamp

I can't tell how important oils are for me because I simply can't imagine having a birth without them. The deep blue is going to be my go to when i am having intense contractions. My husband is very good with the oils and I will be making a plan with him to use them on me as i will be so freaking exhausted.

Honey sticks and Gatorade SAVED me in my last 2 births. You wouldn't run a marathon on an empty stomach, birth is no different. My first was in a hospital and it took a 3 day induction to get her out. I was SO hungry after not eating for 3 days, when she was born I didn't even want to hold her, I just wanted a hamburger STAT!

Doterra oils are ingestable. You are incorrect about that. I am a huge user of them and love that they are ingestable. They do not recommend huge amounts to ingest. But less than 20 drops is ok.

Most Doterra oils are ingestible, yes! BUT some, like Balance or Serenity, are not and should only be diffused or used topically! :)

Pyramid schemes are illegal. MLM businesses aren't pyramid schemes because they are legal. Just wanted to clarify. But yea not the easiest way to have a business and some people get wayyyy too pushy with recruiting.

I am sorta surprised to hear that you use an EO that contains tansy...an herbal abortifacient. But maybe it makes sense? If it stimulates contractions? I'm not an herbalist, obvs.

It's actually blue tansy not tansy- also known as moroccan blue chamomile and safe for pregnancy. it shouldn't stimulate contractions :)
