Sad to see you step away, but completely understand! Praying for you mama! This mom basket gave me a great idea --not only to mimic you, and have one for myself, but to make up two more! One for each of my kids for their quiet time! I'm trying to get us away from the TV and this seems most hard when they first wake up, so this will be a great alternative!! Thank you!

I just came across your channel... well I know it was the Lord that brought me here...I’ve been struggling with yelling and saw your video on that... it helped tremendously and then I watch the mom basket one... I’ve heard of this before but the way you explained it... having everything you need in one place ...that was a game changer for me... I have 4 boys 14,7,3 and a 19mth old....my father in law became very ill in Oct of last year...my sweet husband who works in the hospital is now also keeping his dad’s tailor shop stay open...so by the time he gets home it’s bedtime for the kids...it’s been hard taking care of the boys and trying to maintain order in the house, I know this is for a season and with God’s help we’ll get through and my father in law will get better...all this to say that spending time in his presence and his word is what is going to get me, us through and so I thank God for allowing you to do these 2 videos because they have helped me more than you can imagine... we might never get to meet in person but we will definitely meet in heaven. My husband and I will have you and your family in our prayers so The Lord can continue to use you wherever you are needed. God bless you and your beautiful family.

I have watched several of your videos. I find them especially encouraging when my husband is gone. I'm a military wife and homeschooling mama to three littles. I love having your encouragement on different things. Your video about when your children don't feel like blessings came at an especially needed time. When I watch your stuff I feel like I get a little bit of how and an answered prayer. Thanks for all that you share Shirley. For your joy and for pieces of wisdom. I normally am not one to comment but your videos I always glean something from. I added this mom basket to my life. I love it. I used to leave things all over but I love having it all in one spot no “where’s my-book? Bible? Journal? Devotional?” Thanks Shirley!

Just want to pop in and say, I really appreciate your authenticity and willingness to not make KZfaq a master over your family. I always really appreciate when moms are upfront about stepping away from social media to focus on family and just be a mom to their children without feeling like they have to be documenting every little step for their followers. While I always find encouragement from other Christian moms/mentors, it always encourages me as well when mom's step away from their platform to also evaluate how much time I am spending following other's versus following God and just being present in my home. I will always be a subscriber, but again, so much love and encouragement to you for just being REAL!

I’m excited to see the 5 yr journal because I actually ran across a similar journal from the 1940’s that was completely filled out by a man who has come and gone but it was so interesting reading about his life back then! It’s good to know they still make journals like that! I thought it was a really neat idea. Anyway, I have missed your encouraging videos! But, I completely understand needing to invest your time elsewhere for a while. Do you have a few favorite you tube friends that we can follow when we need encouragement in this homeschool journey with littles?

Just scrolling through you tube and I saw your sweet self and my eyes got so big! I checked and you had posted just 2 days ago and I said, "She's back!" with a big smile and I couldn't click any faster than I did on your video! I've missed you! I found out in the same day that you and 2 other sweet ladies were off you tube. THAT was a sad day, like really sad. We as viewers, I am realizing, really become attached and look forward to seeing our "friends" on you tube. So anyway, I could go on and on but I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE BACK! KZfaq is another thing! It sure is mama....I understand 100%!!! Fellow homeschool, KZfaq mama! It is so hard to balance everything! You can do anything ...but not EVERYTHING! Right?!
