I cannot tell you how excited I am about this subscription box. My son and I just started reading “The Green Ember” a few days ago because he didn’t like a read aloud I had previously picked. Thank you for all your videos and wisdom. I homeschool a pre-K and 1st grader. We’ve done CC two years now. I LOVE the sandbox. And we love TGATB curriculum too. We actually chose the math because my daughter and I watch you and your daughter doing a lesson and my girl likes it. :-) It’s great to have wonderful ideas from other like minded mommas. And just fyi the CC book store has nice math flash cards. The answers are on the back. We use those for addition.

Hi! Honestly it's just from watching YT videos and finding book lists that go along with what we're studying. Sometimes it takes a year or two to actually find something you like, but that's ok. There's always next year. 😉

Have you used any Latin language curriculum? We do the Latin memory work in CC but I'm wondering if we should try Latin work over something like Spanish. But Spanish seems so much more useful. Loved seeing you morning basket

I’ve not thought of going over the books of the bible!!! I’ve taught them how to find a book in the bible and then the chapter and verse. We speak German in the house and we hear it from our kids!!! Nothing wrong wiv taking language learning slowly. I tell my kids that are learning a language and my daughter tells me she doesn’t need to buy my son listens. As I can’t speak french or ittillian idk if they are learning it right. Sorry I can’t spell. My son uses a curriculum and my daughter is learning from a family friend. Dora the exporer books are both English and Spanish and awesome for younger kids. We love the pilgrims progress!!!

I just want to first say I love your videos, energy and joy for teaching your children. I wanted to know if you have done or know of a Bible curriculum that will teach them about the bible. I've been trying to find a Bible study with activities so I can work with my 4 year old and 8 year old. Thanks in advance!

Hi! Thank you Anita! I haven't ever done an official Bible curriculum. We mostly just read through children's bibles and talk about it. I'm sure there are good ones out there but I haven't looked into it. Sorry! The Jesus Storybook Bible is great and you can get a coloring book to go with it. Maybe getting something like The Adventure bible would be great for your 8yr old. It's scripture but easy to read and has some great additional facts about the culture of Biblical times. 😁
