Dear Mr Klesh, I was pleased to see your airborne paraphernalia on the wall of your studio. I was airborne also, second generation in fact (my father was in the jump over the Rhine and was the only survivor of his Stick). I went to Ft. Benning in Sept 84. I have a fairly light build, so now have a number of souvenirs from those days (two artificial hips and knees, back fused from shoulder blades to bum, and scheduled for my second shoulder repair next week!) So now at 75 my wife has no sympathy! I’d do it over again, though! It was a rush. I’ve acquired most of my hardware in the last five years, so can’t do much outdoor panning anymore. Accordingly, I now get my kicks vicariously through mostly you and Dan Hurd. Dan rarely drops his “viewers persona,” so watching you with your more frank and down to earth is a good balance. Dan makes me laugh a lot while you provide many pointers in the actual art of panning (Dan loves his gadgets!). I certainly hope your channel is thriving, as your reviews of varying paydirts is quite enlightening and entertaining! Best regards, Marshall Dressel

I received a large "Home Depot" type bucket full of stuff from a local (Northern California) gold bearing site. Only found two small specks but I had a blast doing it.

I love longer videos but the best is between your normal ones and this one. Finally have my husband watching one in 3 videos, soon will have him subscribing.

Hi Shane, Enjoy watching you pan placer gold, never get bored with seeing AU in the pan! As a change of pace I'd love to see some real lode gold , I forget the proper term for it but it's real course chunky gold, some come in specimen form, maybe wire gold, nuggets don't need to be big but they look unique.

The “Made In Alaska” tag with the cute bears on the label was not introduced until 1992, can is probably from ‘95-‘98, but if it’s tailings from up in Chicken, there’s color in it.
