Marketing 101: Creating an imaginary problem and solving it
@tazverr Жыл бұрын
It's not imaginary though, less can be more for some people as they might be mostly allergic/sensitive maybe a side of fear for those who are not which is the big case why people want alternative products. Everyone is different and of course every company wants produce in a cheap way to make more money and using cheap oils, flavors. However what's depressing is the healthier alternatives are expensive, and there's no reason for it to be. These could be cheaper, however not many will buy it because of bland tasting. Maybe this guy specifically uses quality tasty flavors and processing so his pricing is justified. But that's usually the case, things marked up as "healthy" get a free excuse to mark it up as expensive. It's not hard to think about.

Try to avoid protein and proprietary blends as the quantities of such will not always be abundantly clear, and whey isolate is basically a more filtered protein to reduce carbs and fats that is about 90% or more whey protein by weight, compared to whey concentrate which has UP TO 80% protein by weight.

Maltodextrin is often in whey protein powder which is twice a high as sugar on the glycemic index. I was at the store the other day and for the first time read labels before purchasing food. I was shocked that food like milk and butter have "natural flavoring" or preservatives. Even pie crust and whipped cream has maltodextrin. I'd rather make my own without the crap. The USA is one of if not the only nation that puts poison in its food.
@CybertroninfiniteOfficial Жыл бұрын
🧐, these ingredients in present in other products from other countries. And yes, preservatives are pretty common amongst a lot of "dry foods" since they have to maintain healthy (non-spoiled) conditions for extended periods of time. Except those artificial sweeteners are proven to not be bad for you, and they help with weight loss management better, or you can just add 100 extra calories with your brand and make losing weight harder, but it's your choice.
@francismonroe969 Жыл бұрын
They absolutely are not proven to not be bad for you. Actually it has been proven to raise cortisol levels and disrupt healthy gut bacteria leading to an increased risk of anxiety, depression, migraines, and learning problems. Try stevia if you want a zero calorie sweetener.
@ZxAMobile Жыл бұрын
Or you can stop using sweeteners all together and actually stop being a 24 seven addict. I have to look for hours sometimes to find supplements that don’t have any sweeteners in it. It’s extremely annoying that everybody is so immature that they need everything to taste like a fruit rollup. If you want something sweet, just eat some freaking fruit or something why do you have to sweeten everything you eat that shouldn’t even be sweet in the first place.
@taipogriz836 Жыл бұрын
@@ZxAMobile You can also stop being pretentious. The majority of people using protein powder don’t care about the sweetness - only the flavor. And the amount of sugar in the average serving of a flavored protein powder is more comparable to peanut butter. I can see other supplements such as (PWO, carbs, actual “aminos”, etc) that are legitimate pumped full of sweetener. And this is from someone that also attempts to eliminate as much sugar - natural or not - from their diet as possible. I just don’t care to get ruffled about someone else’s diet, especially when they’re taking literal supplements… That are that, supplements.

Best protein powder on those shelves is Walmart's equate protein powder. No added artificial sugars and it's the cheapest on the self.
