Welcome back to Heroes Next Door! This week, Mike travels to North West Ohio to visit the Liberty Fire Department in the heart of Ada. Updated in 2009, this station is one of the most well-kept we've seen so far. With 27 active firefighters and approximately 120 calls per year, they truly exemplify dedication and service.
The majority of the building's square footage is dedicated to the apparatus bay, home to multiple dual-axle rigs that carry an impressive 7,800 gallons of water. Essentially, this station is their own Tanker Task Force. Whether you're within city limits or in the rural areas, Liberty Fire Department has you covered.
