I recently upgraded my winch and I spliced a couple loops on my old synthetic rope to have an 80+foot winch line extension.

I run 3 ..2 20ft 1 30ftvoodoo kinetic in my 2014 cummins recovery truck ...I have pulled out duallys... 2 trucks and a boat from a lake at same time!! Just always warn the people they get slung out like a rocket ...!! I try to stretch it out find the end ...back up bout 10feet and give it at bout 20mph...nothen I havent pulled out !!!! ALWAYS USE SOFT SHACKLES WITH KINETIC ROPES!!!

I have a question. I have a 92 Toyota pickup. However when I bought it it was lowered. I was wondering if you could give me some tips or info on how to lift the truck.

Hard to say without seeing the truck honestly. But I'd find a rotten parts 4x4 truck and just move everything over, I think it's essentially bolt on to make 4x4.

There have been a few respectable 4x4 offroaders recently doing recovery "load out". I am in absolute shock as they ALL have made claims replacing shackles with soft shackles? Soft shackles DO NOT REPLACE THE STANDARD SHACKLE! THEY WORK TOGETHER! If there is a failure of the shackle at ANY point, it will be operator error. So don't be stupid and lazy. If you can not loosen the bolt on a shackle, it is because of operator error! Standard shackles should NEVER be left installed while in daily use. There should be MULTIPLE shackles is the recovery bag WITH the soft shackles. There is a breaking point of rope when the bend exceeds the circumference point of the rope itself. No matter how dull or rounded an edge, the friction fighting this breaking point will cause a failure, then add an edge to the equation such as the recovery points where the shackle is installed and you get a blow out. Factor 55 distribution [shacle] is a prime example. A recovery group in Colorado tested its use to shorten the rope and had rope failure EVERY TIME. Using a standard shackle to shorten the rope in the same way rendered the rope unharmed and NO damage BECAUSE OF THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE SHACKE. The bend and edge is the ropes enemy. A quality shackle or D ring is above a soft shackle breaking radius and a recovery should NEVER be executed with out one... Less you be stranded.

I believe there are two screw pin bow shackles included. The one he held up. Rated and smooth for use when soft shackle isn’t appropriate.

I’ll tell how I did the bob on my 84’ single cab rig, I turn it into a extended cab. Single cab wheel base in an extended cab, somewhat of a down side is the bed is only five feet long. All said and done most people don’t notice and think it’s stock.

I took of the 84' single cab and bed and installed a 93' extended cab and bed. I bobbed the front of the bed to get the rear wheel wells to line up. I planned on doing a Chevy spring swap so this could and will help with fine tuning the look. A body lift was needed to get the rear of the cab to clear the frame but doesn't look to bad with the 3" suspension lift.

I got tired of the lack of space in the cab, and since I already had a solid axle truck, figured why not. Doing the cab and bed swap for me was cheaper than a SAS swap on a newer rig, first I'd have to buy one first was the big kicker.
