Dropping it from 1000ft is redundant because the MacBook Pro will reach terminal velocity at 12ft, because it's terminal velocity is 36 +- 2 m/s and at 9.80 m/s which is the gravity constant on earth it will reach its terminal velocity at about 3.6 meters or 12.10 feet.

I think it smacked down on the ground right side up because the bottom is so dirty and then I think it flipped around a bit which would make the case curved and the bottom and back dirty
