Great interview...yes indeed a lot of my family also migrated to Montreal back in the day...and many have remained there who I've never met. It's the recent ones that go to Toronto.

So nice to meet the successor of Mr. Noel Alexander. My father, Roland Scott, was an ardent member and won many trophies from the domino tournaments. He passed away in 2016. Hope to meet you one day, Mr. Mark Henry. My two older sisters went to Camperdown High school, while I went there for one year, 1981 to 1982. I migrated to Montreal in 1986 as well. You’re very knowledgeable about Montreal, the culture and the J’can community. Everything you said was on point. I left Montreal in 2004, to do travel nursing, and never returned. My children and most of my family still live there. I beg to differ with the cost of living. Montreal has always been expensive and has become more expensive than when I was living there. When I moved to the Philadelphia, I was able to afford food and clothing for me and my children, when they were living with me. I do visit occasionally in the summer or fall. Would never return to that brutal cold. I love the weather here in Florida. Proud of you Mark. Xavier, I hope you’ll visit one day. Great interview 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Donald Quarrie won gold in 1976, not just bronze. I watched the race. I was living in Toronto at the time. He should have said Aboriginals or native Indians. Because. For people who don't know the difference. They might think that he is referring to the Indians from India 🇮🇳. Xavier Murphy. You forgot to ask your guest about the French food. (Poutine, Montreal smoked meat, yellow split peas soup 🍲, Tourtiere and butter tart )Sorry. I don't remember the name of your guest. He should have also said that a lot of Caribbean people moved to the province of Toronto Ontario. Well. Not just Toronto. A lot moved to Toronto. But some moved to Scarborough, Hamilton and Mississauga. That being said. It was a great interview. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊. Blessings 🙌 and guidance always 🙌 😊 🙏 ✨️

I have always say that. With high taxes in the UK and Canada, health care is not free at all. Sales tax is high, property tax is super hig etc. etc.

Yes but even if you make minimum wage and contribute little you will get the same treatment as some one who is taxed more. So it is a fair system.

How are you moving to a country or province that speaks a different language and trying to force them to speak your language!!! That’s like a Spaniard moving to Jamaica and trying to force Jamaica to now speak Spanish. It’s insulting, you should 100% respect the culture of the place you are moving and learn the language.

Are you aware that presently there are children living in some communities in Kingston that have never gone beyond their community. They haven't been to Halfway Tree or even down town.

True, there are persons in Jamaica who have never been to the beach. They have never used flush toilet, never had electricity and never ever left their community.

It is true, Jamaicans in my experience are prifeful so that will make you starve to death. LOL!
